Location is central to downtown Memphis. We loved the restaurants and stores in the Big Bass Pro. The front staff was very professional as well as the other staff at the hotel.

Thursday night, a child, about 2 years old (I saw the child the next morning, so I am saying about 1 1/2 to 2 years old) in the next room was crying so loud and acting out from about 11:30:PM until 4:00 AM we couldn't sleep. The child was we could hear telling her mother no while the mother was saying shh. And the pillows were not very fluffy. One more thing no staff was aviable to take our luggage to our room.

Loved the decor in our room, loved having the balcony. Bathroom was big. Bed was comfortable. Had a bar and lounge area just down the hall a ways. We liked the idea of having the shuttle to take us in to town. Drivers were friendly.

One of the lamps in our bedroom did not work. Room was not mopped as there was dust on floor underneath table. Curtain stick was missing which made it a little harder to pull curtains back. Apparently there was some work done on Room 302 at the electrical outlet behind leather chair because no one cleaned up afterwards and there was sheetrock dust on floor. We reported everything to the front desk. But each time we came back to the room nothing was addressed. Also, I wish you would add more restraunts to the lodge. The Lookout at the Pyrimid was ok. It needs a good cleaning. I dropped my sunglasses on the floor at the bar and there was lots of dirt and grim. Once we were seated for our dinner our table was greasy and the salt and pepper shakers were greasy.

ALL The staff were WONDERFUL!!! I can not brag on them enough. I hugged them all. The room was beautiful, the view from the balcony was amazing & the free shuttle service was a life saver for getting to & from the nearby graduation we went there for. Down town Memphis parking is terrible on a good day, so the Free hotel shuttle bus was awesome.

The only constructive criticism I would offer, is for a continental breakfast. The only thing they offer is free coffee on the third floor. The restaurants in Bass Pro Shop do not open until later & you have plans for later & would just like a bagel or light snack to get you through. So please offer a continental breakfast.

Helpful and friendly staff. Valet parking. Excellent outdoor theming. Very clean. We had an interior room with a balcony that overlooks the store. This was fantastic and I would recommend getting this over an exterior room (it’s also great for planning your next purchase…).

Restaurant and store closing time was very early on Sundays (7pm). Not a criticism of the hotel but the Wahlburger’s Wild restaurant (which is on property) was very poor. The food was bland and very expensive for what it is. I’d recommend avoiding this and going to either of the Big Cypress Lodge offerings instead.

The location was great. It was about 10 minutes away from other restaurants. I loved being able to sit on the balcony and watch the people walk around in the store. And the windows on the balcony doors were sound proof so when you closed the door you couldn't hear any noise from the inside of the store. Everyone that we meet was friendly and nice. Any questions that we asked were answered. Me and my brother brought our parents here for their 45th wedding anniversary and they definitely enjoyed themselves. My dad loves to fish and play golf so he got some new gear. We have already agreed that we would definitely come back.

I reserved 3 rooms because me and my brother brought our parents for New years weekend to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary. When they arrived in their room my son found a pair of underwear on the floor. We called the front desk and told them about it. When the bellhop brought our luggage he called housekeeping and someone came to collect the underwear. She apologized, but that was all. No one offered to re-vacuum the floor or spray any disinfected spray. Luckily I had my own disinfected spray that I spray on the carpet and told my family to make sure they work flip flops when walking around the room.

Clean, pretty, interesting decor & good location. also loved the shuttle service! Ashley at the front desk & Jeffrey, Lead bellhop, were awesome! Great shower & jacuzzi tub. Glass elevator very cool.

TERRIBLE pillows! Rooms are dark, kind of feels like night all the time but we realize that’s just part of the build. Breakfast at Whalburgs was not great and very small menu. Their but we’re good! Needs a few chairs outside on the observation deck.

My partner and I relayed loved the outdoor patio with rocking chairs and the bathroom with the rain head shower and huge tub. During our stay we were also given tickets to go up the elevator to the outlook up top and tickets to get a free glass of champagne. The decor and furniture really adds to the experience, making it cozy.

My only two complaints are 1) the TVs being small and outdated (cannot access apps like Netflix or Hulu like a smart TV). and 2) the fire place is fake and lets off no heat which I feel is completely false advertising. It is a nice stay if you are going during the week when it is cheaper but I would not recommend paying more than $300 per night!

This hotel is really nice. It definitely gives you the outdoor wilderness vibe. The rooms are really nice and clean. You can spend your entire trip just hanging out at the resort.

The upstairs observatory was closed, which was unfortunately because it was one reason why we stayed at the hotel. It's one of the free amenities offered to guests. Being that guests missed out on this experience, I feel the hotel should offer something as a substitute. Maybe a $15 restaurant voucher

Resturants, comfort.

I was not afforded my military discount. The thin wall between rooms. Loud music and dog barking made it an unpleasant sleeping environment. The next door people was blasting there music after midnight and disturbing those of us wanting to sleep. The curtesy driver was so slow, we decided to drive ourselves. He didn't appear to be in no hurry, even after we told him we needed to go back to the resturant to find my guests phone. He didn't say he was waiting on anyone either.

Everything about the Pyramid Bass Pro was awesome. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Dining was excellent. Especially enjoyed Wild Wahlberg 's. Enjoyed the fireplace and balcony in our room. Valet parking was great. Being a guest,we were allowed to go to the head of the line, no waiting.

It was a little pricey. It was too dark and cold in the rooms.
