This is a wonderful property just off the interstate. There are several chain restaurants right behind the property, literally within walking distance. We were just passing through on our way home so we only stayed one night. Our room had a full kitchen, a recliner and a tv. After eating dinner, my husband enjoyed relaxing in the recliner and watching tv after a full day of driving. The bed was very comfy and we got a good night’s sleep. I loved that we were able to make a full pot of coffee to go with our breakfast and not just a cup at a time like most hotels. They also have free coffee available in the lounge so we got one for the road, and it was good coffee. They don’t serve a free breakfast but they do have a breakfast in bed option available for a small fee. They also have a nice laundry facility on-site.

I enjoyed my stay and the price was good. No complaints.

This is our second visit to this facility. It's simple, clean, more than adequate. The bed was comfortable, air conditioner functioned perfectly, the room was quiet, the kitchenette was nice but there were no utensils, pans, bowls/plates, etc. to enable us to use the appliances. Apparently, you are expected to bring your own kitchen supplies.

There's no breakfast offered with the room. The motel provides a "mini store" offering snack food and simple breakfast selections. They have a sign posted with the different items they sell though many of the items weren't available. When we asked for a paper plate and a spoon, the receptionist said they didn't offer anything like that. We left and had breakfast somewhere else.

This is a great hotel to stay when you are in Amarillo. The staff are very friendly and attentive to any needs or issues that you have. The room was very clean and is a comfortable size for a family of four (two elementary age kids) and has a kitchenette (two burner stove, sink, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave). The room opts for less drawer space and instead puts a small square table with two chairs in its place, perfect for using with the included kitchen. The location is optimal and quiet -- sits behind some restaurants off the main highway; just across the highway from any incidentals shopping you might need -- Target, Home Depot, and Sam's Club (with gas station!). There are many restaurants nearby for dining options. After staying here the outbound part of our trip, we knew this was the place we wanted to come back to stay on the return leg. Note for families with little kids -- beds are not bolted to the floor, so you can move the bed into the corner if you have kids that like to roll around while sleeping.

Note that while the room comes with a kitchenette, there are no dishes, cookware, or silverware in your room, so you must bring your own kitchen ware. Not sure if the front desk provides this on request (follow up with a phone call if you want to know). Rooms did not come with complementary breakfast, but we knew this before we booked and were planning to eat our own food that we had brought.

My Place has everything we need to relax after a long drive; and this hotel is a perfect location for a through travel stay. It was directly behind Saltgrass restaurant as well as other nice places to walk to and eat. Front desk staff, Susan, was friendly and informed us of the amenities as well as future stays; checkout was easy with a very nice young man. This would be our choice to stay in when in Amarillo TX. We love my Place hotels!

So clean with great interior touches. The outlets and USB slots were well placed and plentiful. Stove, full-sized fridge, microwave and prep sink. The iron was clean (pet peeve is dirty irons than mark clothing with rust or dirt).TV was large and clean. Bed was so comfy. Furniture included a comfy chair and desk area. I really was not expecting this place to be this good. I will be back and add this chain to my new favorites. FREE Coffee that was strong and good in the morning. Someone really thought about what people need and want when they travel when they created this place. The staff was so kind and genuine, which was such a blessing after a loooong drive.

Great location and room for the price. Beds were comfortable and a variety of pillows so we each found one we liked. The room was very cleaned and the staff was friendly and helpful!

It would be helpful to know ahead of time that the kitchenette has no utensils, pans, dishes, etc. If I were staying for an extended stay, I would have needed to bring things with me. I understand the reason behind it but headaches could be avoided with upfront communication.

The hotel is clean and very close to tons of places to eat within walking distance also a movie theater behind hotel. target/ large shopping center on other side of freeway. It also had snacks to buy and a large laundry facility. Kitchen was good size with full size fridge/freezer. Staff was friendly and always asked how we were or how's the stay.

Just a little cramped rooms for 4 people and 2 dogs but was doable. No pool. Wish carpet got replaced with hard surface especially if dogs allowed just makes it feel more clean.

I do not give perfect reviews unless they are earned, and this hotel did, in spades. From the minute we walked in the door, we felt comfortable and important to the amazing check in staff. We were so tired after driving from Ohio that I didn't get their names. But they were so sweet. Our room was more than I ever expected for the price. I walk with a cane, and when I saw the size of the room, with a full size refrigerator and a cook top, and then the bathroom!.. I was floored. I will not hesitate to search out My Place wherever we travel.

That we weren't able to stay 2 nights!

We were traveling and it was right on our way and we had stayed there before. Good value for the cost.

Didn't realize there was an ice maker in the refrigerator in our room because we didn't use the refrigerator. When we checked out and wanted to get some ice, the desk clerk told us there was one in our room. It was too late to get ice then and we had to buy some ice.

Bed was very comfortable, loved the recliner in the single queen. Loved the full size coffee maker and the full size freezer and ice machine. It was close to great restaurants that I could walk too.

When I pulled down the covers for the night I noticed that the flat shee didn't come all the way up to the top of the bed. That made me a little suspicious but the sheets looked clean. Also the floor in front of the sink in the bathroom was dirty. I could not find the light switch for the kitchen area.
