Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas-Central Expy/North Park Area

This is a great place to stay--good location with easy access to the Central Expressway. This time we had a room further back and facing the Hilton Garden Inn and it seemed quieter than other times when we have stayed here. The breakfast has lots of options--from muffins and bagels, waffles, eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage, oatmeal, fresh fruit, and yogurt. I really appreciated the bigger plastic cups for water and juice.

The elevators seemed exceptionally slow this time. If you sat on the end of the bed, it made an awful sound, like it was going to collapse (which it didn't, but made that sound whenever sitting on the end of the bed). A visitor we had did not like that the barn door to the bathroom did not lock.

Location was as expected and close to facility we had appointments at. Evening desk employees were great. James was fantastic and was very helpful of area and this really helped. Breakfast was good. Good variety.

Had to pay unexpected fee of $25.00 per night for 2 nights. Was not shown of told about prior to checking in. This was not right. Duvet and comforter was way to heavy. Was not offered housekeeping for 2nd day for trash pickup, toiletries or fresh towels. Outside door were hard to get into with room key. Would be great for future to have 3 nightstands for each side of beds.

In need of a renovation. The hallway carpets are stained and filthy which makes you wonder how careful they are with their cleaning the rooms and sanitizing bathrooms. Maybe they are cleaned well but the feeling was a bit grungy. New hallway and bedroom carpets would go a long way.

I loved everything about my stay. The breakfast was nothing crazy but good enough to get your day started. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking spaces to choose from. My room was clean and tidy, and it was pretty quiet. I would definitely come here again if/when I come visit Dallas.

There wasn't really anything that I could put my finger on that I didn't like. The elevator had a weird smell to it, and I think it came from people leaving the pool and the water hitting the floor. I did see staff hand cleaning the elevator floors and the smell was gone.

I loved everything about the Hampton Inn and Staff Members. Everything was smooth and relaxing. We had no worries with parking and felt safe as we where given parking tickets to store in our window. The front desk clerk greeted us professionally and gave us every instruction that was needed to any lounge (gym room, pool area, & etc). I would also love to take a time out to recognize James he made sure our stay was relaxing and smooth as possible

There's nothing to not like 😃 This place is worth it.

We have stayed at 3 hotels in this area while visiting my husband's mother, who is in skilled nursing care at a facility nearby. This is the hotel we will now make our regular choice. The main issues for us are comfortable beds, cleanliness and accessibility to the location we're visiting. This hotel met all of those criteria--best beds we've had in a recent hotel stay, free parking, and easy freeway access--and it also was pristine clean and had a good, complete breakfast in a pleasant, airy well-lighted room.

Checking in was a problem. I made the reservation but my husband was paying. The front desk rep informed us that the payment had to be made by the person that made the reservation even though our ID showed the address was the same. Then get to the room and the door was opened and didn't have the sticker that showed that the room had been cleaned and sanitized. Management would not come to verify that the room was clean and that nothing had been removed out of the room. His statement was no one had been in there.

Breakfast was good although they should have had more variety of fresh fruit. The coffee was really good

The beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Also I don't get the sliding door that serves both as the bathroom and closet door, it kept sliding open when we were using the bathroom

The room was comfortable and bed was great and room was quite-even with traffic from Central Expressway just outside.

Only the bathroom sink had a green spot under the rim that was visible. I just want where I put my toiletries and cosmetics to be super clean. I would rather the floor be dirty than counter and sink. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but maybe I will bring some cleaner with me next time.

Hampton/Hilton idea of a suite concept was a large room with a cabinet desk furniture feature separating the room. not the type of “suite” my infrequent hotel stays had experienced in the past.
