If you like old fashioned customer service but modern state-of-the-art facilities, the Sandman is the hotel for you. In the last few years, I’ve been of the opinion that good customer service is a thing of the past. Not so here. Every single staff member, starting with the valet who greeted me, the young man at the reception desk, housekeeping, and the restaurant wait staff, were pleasant, friendly, and willing to help. The facility itself is exceptional. Everything was spotlessly clean. I had a king size single and it comes with a new Samsung flat screen tv, fridge, microwave, and safe. The bed was dreamy. I liked the pillows and comforter. And the room was cool, which was especially important because it was 108F outside the day I checked in. I also really loved the shower. It’s one of those rain shower heads with a hand held attachment. I wanted to stay in it longer, it was so relaxing. Oh, be sure and try Musume, the hotel restaurant. Jared, my server gave exceptional service (I never felt rushed and he patiently answered my questions) and the food was delicious. Finally, the location was ideal for the purpose of my trip.

The only reason I rated my stay a 9 instead of a 10 is because of the coffee. I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and the coffee was lukewarm. And I’m not someone who likes coffee scalding hot. When I asked Tasha, my server, for a fresh cup, she happily brought me one. But even that fresh cup was lukewarm. So, maybe the problem is with the coffee maker?

The property was very new, and very clean. The hallways always smelled fresh. The rooms were also very clean and modern and they had nice bathrobes for the guests. The gym was also nice although it was small.

I didn’t like the parking situation. On site there is valet parking with a rate that varies daily, there is also self parking that is expensive and there is an option to park behind the building and down the street for $22.00 a day. It was slightly inconvenient to park and walk down the street on a daily basis. I also wish they had a pool.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was super nice. I also liked that you can park for 15 minutes in back and unload, so there is no need to worry about finding parking when you get dropped off or picked up. The rooms are well equipped with mini fridges, microwaves, little coffee machine, and even takeaway coffee cups and creamer. And the TV had tons of stations. I was on the 18th floor, so I had a nice view of the city as well. The bed was comfortable, and I had a shower and tub, both of which were large. Honestly, for someone travelling alone, it's really ideal. You have a desk to work, and the Wi-Fi was great. I could see this being a fantastic hotel for business travelers.

The lobby could use some added panache. It's very plain. The hotel is new, and they are doing some work. So I suspect the added flair is coming. It would also be nice to have a luggage rack for the room. There was this little bench thing I put my luggage on, but it barely fit on there. Some might not like that maid service is upon request, but I didn't mind. I was only there for two nights and didn't want anyone in my room anyway.

Everything.. location was great the staff was amazing.. they just put a bar and restaurant in ..didn't get to try it but hotel was quiet and clean, updated.

The ice machine and drink vending on our floor was broke all weekend. Valet parking and regular parking regardless what you use pretty expensive your bound into paying because your staying there you should at least get a discount when staying at the hotel.

The hotel is in an historical gem in Fort Worth, which gave the hotel beautiful charm. The entire staff was accommodating and very nice from check in, to other requests we had throughout our stay. The rooms are super spacious, beds were very comfortable and the shower was very relaxing. We also used the gym, which provided everything you need for a quick workout (water, towels, updated equipment). We will definitely stay again on our next stay in Fort Worth!

The location the rooms were very nice the beds were very comfortable rooms were clean the staff were very friendly nice and helpful this hotel has a bar inside and a restaurant down in the basement if you don’t like eating at hotels there are eating places all around you and local bars around you great place to stay I’m booking my next trip soon and I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone

I am gluten free. I did not eat the breakfast. I don't normally eat breakfast at the hotels I stay at...I had a fabulous stay here. My room was awesome and I would stay here again. I loved this spot. Close to everything

I can't think of anything that could be better. My stay was perfect and parking was right there. Most of the hotels you have to valet. I parked right by the hotel.

The staff were super accommodating and very friendly. The rooms were very clean and cosy. The bed was actually the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept on. They allowed us to check out early but have our bags checked so we couldn’t explore the town before we left that night. Nothing was to big a hassle.

Wifi was a little patchy, but honestly we enjoyed our stay so much we didn’t mind

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Bed was comfy and everything was nice and clean. Even though we were on the 19th floor we could still hear people and music from the bustling nightlife. Nothing a white noise app can’t fix. We enjoyed our stay!

The room was spacious & newly renovated. Very comfortable king bed. Linen & towels were great. No noise from other rooms. Everything was clean.

The entrance foyer, bar area had music that was way too loud for that type of area.
