Everything was great

I didn't like all the extra stuff you had to pay for after booking the room. Parking the car myself, I should not have to pay for.

Very surprised there's no coffee station. It would be very convenient to have coffee and tea set up either inside or just outside the restaurant for guest use. All other hotels do it.

Very friendly staff and the location of the area was great as well. Everything was in walking range. The hotel was very clean as where the rooms.

There was no free breakfast, everything they sold there was expensive, and they charged you each night just to park your car every night. I wasn’t expecting that. Over all it was a great hotel but to be honest I will not stay there again.

The location was great. Views from our room were very pretty. A lot of stuff to do in the area for all age groups. Lacey (I think that was her name) at the front desk was great. She checked us in and checked us out & was very nice. Room service & pricing was pretty decent & portions were big.

Not really a typical occurrence but they held a gala or some event the Friday night we were staying & the guests took up every single spot in the lot even tho according to Hilton staff they weren’t supposed to. You should never run out of “space” for paying clients.

everything was great. something that bothered us! when we was in the restaurant breakfast time, There were no more pancakes, the waitress was very kind, I asked her if they could please put more pancakes, she very kindly went to talk to the breakfast lady , but this other person reacted very angry and with a bad attitude, she did not think I was watching her , the waitress realized that we had noticed the bad attitude of her partner and immediately came to our table to apologize for the bad attitude of this lady. this happened on sunday morning 10-6/10:30 am. Everything else was very good. We enjoyed the bike rally and our stay at the Hilton hotel.

I always stay at this Hotel. Once every 3 weeks on average. I've developed a good report with many of the staff their. I always look forward to seeing the front desk staff, they know me now after becoming a regular. The bartenders, and their available "Ecuadorian Man Slave" which is an unknown feature at this hotel! Seriously, I cant wait till I come back to Hilton Galveston. I truly is like coming home for me!

The Freeking pillows are so big and fluffy that they won't fit into my suit case!

It was in a great location. The staff was very professional. There was a slight issue with the sprinkler. The staff handled the situation well. I would recommend for them to have a debrief and go over the incident. This way they can learn and set SOP’s for future events . It was a stressful situation for all and the staff handled it very well.

The pool was awesome! And open late. Room Service offered until 10:30pm. Room was nice and clean, decent parking.

We had no balcony, but did have a pool/beach view. It rained a couple of times during our stay, and the rain was leaking through the window into the room. I called the front desk to let them know, but they acted like it happens fairly frequently. It was about 4:30am, but still, the person I spoke to didn’t ask me any information, not even my name or room number. It didn’t rain too much, and I was able to put towels in the window sill to soak it up so it wouldn’t drip all over the floor. But I was surprised at the lack of customer service concerning that issue. I mean rain was coming in my room on the 8th floor.

Staff helpful and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. Our request for adjoining rooms with ocean views and balconies was fufilled! Pool has a 21 and over side with swim up bar!

Paid 12 dollars a day for parking--not a problem. The Big issue is people are parking for free to go to Landrey's, Rainforest Cafe, and/or beach. Therefore, parking for Hilton Resort paid parking is scarce throughout the day and early evening. Mini fridge not cooling.

Beautiful lobby that smelled great on entering, very clean with luxury furnishings and flowers. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff- high marks. Luxe room, comfortable bed and linens. Excellent location. Nice amenities. Nice bar and restaurant.

I wish the swim up bar had been open- yes it’s January but I’m coming from a climate that was 20 degrees when I left.
