La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Lufkin

location was fantastic, likely the best in Lufkin! Value is spectacular. This hotel is for a minimalist like myself. Everything was great nice clean the rooms aren't that big but that's okay. It served our needs the breakfast was adequate. For $80 what do you expect great value that's what I expect!

It would have been nice to have a clean pool to swim in but this is the time of year where they cut that back. There may be two more weeks where the pool is open anyway.

The friendliness of the staff is exceptional. The location is convenient to most restaurants and shopping outlets. The property layout provides a safe stay with plenty of parking available.

The breakfast could be stocked better during the weekend. The available food items ran short. The juice machine should be fixed if it does not provide enough in the refrigerator as an alternative.

Friendly staff all the way around! Vending machines in the lobby provide the best value and selection of 12 ounce can sodas only $1. I would be proud to own this property and commend the owners for their diligent efforts maintaining, upgrading, and remodeling this hotel. The ratings will soon reflect this.

very pretty lobby, staff was kind, pretty and clean room, the most comfortable hotel bed i just sunk into, most hotel beds are hard, delicious free breakfest, convenient parking by my door

pool was closed and dirty on a hot summer day, two of my lamps and plugs didnt work in the room only had one light or bathroom light to use, no laundry

Very convenient, close to food places or shopping area. Quiet, bed comfortable as it could be. Simple continental but a lot of varieties. Waffle maker.

Had to wait 30 minutes or so to check out as no one at front desk was available, I started to get nervous I was gonna past the check out time. Desk/table in the room legs were broke/wobbly, I don’t know if that was kept purposely or the hotel just didn’t have the budget to replace it. Also, my room was never cleaned. :/

Clean and modern, very comfortable.

Just a couple things around the room were falling apart. Minor things, like the bath tub overflow cover had broken off and was sitting in the side of the bed. The AC cover was also removed and lying on top. The inside was covered in a thick layer of dust.

The handicapped parking was blocked for most of the two days by big trucks (one was a semi cab) that parked on the opposite side of the same corner. I think vehicles should not be allowed to park in the other side of the corner or the handicap parking should not be in that corner. Otherwise, we are happy with our stay at the motel. Thank you.

The breakfasts included multiple options, which allowed for varied prepared food choices each day. The staff was very accommodating. Chedk-in and check-out process was straightforward and simple. I would recommend this facility to others.

The friendly staff at the front desk filled all of our requests at a moment's notice. The service staff did a great job getting our room ready, we had no complaints. Also, we loved the pool and spa. It was clean and towels were always available.
