Super 8 by Wyndham Nacogdoches

I liked the size of the room and the comfort of the air conditioner- it was far enough from the bed to cool me without blowing directly on me. The room smelled faintly of roses. I assume it was a scented powder used on the carpet or something. it was unexpected and pleasurable because I smelled it upon entry, but didn’t notice it after spending time in the room. it was the perfect amount of scent. The bathtub area was very clean and the granite surround made it very inviting. The cleanliness of the bathroom and the sheets on the bed made this room one that I would want to request every time I’m staying in Nacogdoches. Also, the chocolate muffins at breakfast were awesome!

I did not like a floor drain in the middle of the bathroom floor. I did not like that ALL of the pillows were super plump. I’m a side sleeper and prefer a choice of pillow that is slightly firm and more flat than the ones that were available. The plu-in alarm clock kept making an obnoxious noise, so I unplugged it. I would have liked a banana for breakfast.

There was a full hot breakfast available. The room was very well cleaned. The a/c worked wonderfully. There was food and drink options nearby and not a far travel to downtown to go sightseeing.

The only complaint I have is we were put in a connecting room, but we only had one room booked. As a woman who was travelling with children, I was a little uneasy about that but simply locked the door and stayed vigilant and had no issues. But that was literally the only complaint I could make, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I'm sure if I would have asked to move to another room it wouldn't have been an issue.

Was very happy with the cleanliness of the room and the helpful staff. All shifts were very accomodating for any needs. Only had breakfast once but had a good selection for on the go options. Pricing and location were very good for a 3 night stay. Perfect for college student parents who are on a tighter budget! The A/C worked AMAZING!!

Note to myself to not take a room next to elevator. The walls are this so could here every time anyone came or went. I will need to be sure to get or bring extra blanket as A/C was great. The beds were a little uncomfortable and small.

This hotel is an exceptional Super 8 hotel. The building is well maintained and the rooms are renovated with excellent beds and plenty of room space. I have stayed her numerous times when in the Nacogdoches area. It is a great value and I highly recommend staying at this property. The breakfast was good with plenty to offer, especially during the pandemic times. The staff due a great job of maintaining the breakfast room and keeping the offerings well stocked.

I can't think of anything to improve upon. I always enjoy my stay here.

My grandson and I were in town for a graduation party and I wanted to stay at a hotel with an indoor pool. We arrived late but got up the next morning and had breakfast (it was okay but fresh fruit would be nice, none that day) and then he enjoyed the pool for an hour or so. It was worth the stay just for that.

The room we had was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff we had contact with were so friendly and courteous and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast we had went beyond our expectations. The food was delicious and was there was plenty to eat.

I cannot think of a thing that could have been better than the service we received by the staff and the cleanliness of the entire property.

Nicest Super 8 I've ever stayed at. The room was large, bathroom was nice, bed was comfortable, everything was very clean. The AC and heat worked very well too and was not obnoxious. The proximity to hwy 59 was good.

The pillows were way too tall. I couldn't get comfortable sleeping with them and it bothered my neck. Pesky construction on hwy 59 makes Google maps send you to non-existent U-turns to get to the hotel.

I was very happy with my family's stay. The employees at the front desk were welcoming. The room was clean with a good ac. The beds were comfortable. The price was reasonable and the location was easy to find. The breakfast even though it was in a sac was tasty and generous. I would definitely stay again!

The breakfast was very good. It would be better to be upfront about it being in a sac when advertising hot breakfast so that people know what to expect.

The location was close to everything and the front desk staff were so friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the A/C worked so well. The beds were large and comfortable.

At one point there were no more parking spaces, so we were prompted to park at the Burger King next door. We were so afraid of being towed away, so we eventually had to go back downstairs and move the car when we saw that someone had left the Super 8 parking lot.

The inside pool and hot tub in the winter time is great, most do not work at the hotels, but this one did and I was happy.

I most definitely did not like the fact that the inside pool/ spa closes at 10. Some of us don't ever get a chance to relax, and some are traveling long distances..I chose this hotel solely on the spa.
