when checking in i was greeted by a very friendly, courteous, and helpful receptionist, the room was very clean and comfortable, a lot of space to move around in, i really enjoyed having the sofa, desk, and extra fridge which came in handy, the pool area was well kept and everyone seemed to be having a great time, the local restaurants in port isabel are great, i especially liked a tortilleria that served authentic mexican food, the short drive through the causeway to SPI is amazing, you can admire South Padre Island's beauty, it was a great birthday weekend getaway.

i did not like leaving...lol

Amazing location because it was super close to South Padre Island and only a 20 minute drive to Brownsville where my family lives and who I was visiting. The room was a lot nicer than locations at South Padre that I was looking at. Not to mention that those locations costed a lot more than what I paid here. Furniture was comfy and the pool was a great size and right outside my room. Only complaint is that the room was a bit humid, but the staff here and the AC more than made up for it. Staff was incredibly friendly and more than exceeded every request that my boyfriend and I made. Will recommend and if visiting, will stay here again. Thank you! (:

They have recently updated and painted (basically sanitized) their rooms. The rooms were very clean. Their customer service was very good. The morning and night staff always greeted us with a smile and were very friendly. If you are looking to go to the island, but don't want to pay the hefty island hotel fees, then this is a perfect spot. You can spend all day and night at the island and relax and sleep away from the traffic.

No complaints about the hotel. Hotel is great. BUt there are many cops along the South Padre island road and they catch each and every one who is even a little over the speeding limit. Be careful.

I very much like and appreciate the simplicity and personability; on that you are dealing with a small team & not a faceless corporation. It's seriously nothing fancy or impressive, not at the same time isn't meant to be. It's very clean, albeit rough around the edges.

I guess following up on what I did like, while I said it was rough around the edges, there didn't need to be taped off sockets on the room, or unpainted surfaces exposed in the bathtub, discolored grout around the base of the Toilette, etc.

Sadly ice machine didn't work. Tried in the evening and the morning. No breakfast but still ok just needed somewhere sleep after fishing. A/c was good, could of been colder. No coffee makers in room. I usually bring my own coffee for machine but none available and of course free coffee is not good. Receptionist Estrella was great. Very friendly and helpful. I would stay again for a reasonable price like I paid this visit for another fishing trip. Beds are springy. Clean room.

We Really enjoyed our stay.. our rooms were close to everything. Pool,laundry, ice machine, And the office. Really also enjoyed the location. It was busy busy but of course it's straight on to the island.. the only thing is the parking lot was really packed all the time and everybody was parking on the handicapped spot without any permit. But it's not the hotel fault.. other than that the rooms were cold and clean when we walked in.. they even called because we were running really late in checking in to make sure we were still coming..

It’s close to everything in town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s my go to place when I’m in town and the price is very reasonable. They also have a bbq area with picnic tables that’s really nice.

There is no coffee maker in the room. Although they provide it in the office, it’s rather inconvenient. The daily pet fee is a bit much, but doesn’t keep me away!

We really enjoyed the pool the beds were also really comfortable and we enjoyed how clean it was the staff was also very kind.

I don’t really think there was anything to dislike about everything was perfectly fine

We have vacationed several times on S. Padre Island, but this was our first overnight stay on Port Isabel. Being a major holiday weekend, we wanted to avoid the traffic and congestion on the island, but still have the S. Padre experience. Casa Rosa Inn turn our to be the "perfect" alternative the the island! Great location, great price, large room (w/ excellent shower water pressure), nice large fridge, cold a/c, very nice staff. We found plenty of fun shopping and dining options within walking distance to the Lighthouse and bridge. Yet, in the opposite direction, Port Isabel offers all the modern shopping needs like Walmart, H.E.B., etc. Overall, I would highly recommend Casa Rosa Inn to friends and family and we plan on staying again on our next visit.
