Excellent breakfast, Hot and yummy. The private walk to the beach was gorgeous,,, The pool was warm and very clean. Margarita (cleaning staff was extremely friendly and helpful.) Front desk was awesome and very professional.

Finding someone had blown it out in the public mens bathroom by the pool.

The room had some sort of smell but once in there awhile u got used to it.. I had to ask for blanket just light sheets on bed.. but overall was great place to stay

The people here make the difference!!! This team is THE example to follow! General Manager Abel Montes is truly a "diamond" of a gentleman and professionally leads by example. I pray Comfort Suites Corporate office realizes his talent and potential and advances his career appropriately. :) He is outstanding!!!

The chafing dish needs to be replaced as the current lid "hinge" is broken. Suggestion: Flour tortillas to go with the AMAZING refried beans that are available every morning would be awesome - maybe even some potatoes too. Another suggestion is to have a juice machine with options other than just orange juice which is poured into the one container for the breakfast area. Increase the number of coffee dispensers as well to accommodate the demand during breakfast. The space for the breakfast area is way too small for the number of guests. The plates were very flimsy as well.

Cleaningness and staff.

That's it advertised beach front and it's NOT.

I loved having beach access from the hotel. The rooms were comfortable. Pool was heated with a jacuzzi and open until 11pm. Clean bathroom and hot showers. The staff was super super nice and attentive. Greeted us everytime we walked in or out.

Hotel and furniture is a little outdated but didn’t mind since it wasn’t something I’d be using. Like the tables with an office chair. We had a sofa bed but didn’t use that either.

The clerk at the front desk when I checked in was awesome. He was very nice and helpful. He fixed the mistake made by Booking. Com. He was very understanding.

The room I booked on my Booking. Com app ,was the room I was expecting to get when I checked in i was wrong. I booked a room with a balcony and a city view but when I was checking in I was told that the room that was booked was a standard queen with no balcony.

The location was great. Beach access and other places walking distant.

Our room wasn't ready when i checked in. Bed wasn't made. Their was still dirty sheets in the room.

Wonderful stay. We booked a room with 2 queen beds and balcony, however, when arriving, they were out of rooms with balcony and so they upgraded us to a king bed suite! Breakfast was great, so many options to choose from. We had some eggs,sausage,biscuits and Texas shaped waffles! The private access to the beach was so convenient we didn't have to lose our parking. FYI the hotel has a shower stand to rinse off sand before going in, which we didn't notice until the day of checking out but good to know! Overall stay was perfect for my family of 3. Definitely making this our spot for next trip to SPI.

Only thing that I can think of that can help is maybe adding some sort of flooring on the beach access walk way. There is a section where the concrete ends and then its sand and then it merges to the next hotels walk way towards the beach entry. The *sand* part, maybe add the same type of material the other hotel used. Not a big deal but that's the only thing I could think of that crossed my mind.

the staff was friendly and it was a 2 minute walk to the beach which was so nice, and pretty much everything is within walking distance.

Only thing we disliked was our room was very humid regardless of the a/c running it was like moist and gross idk how to explain it and the entire room smelt like mildew and had mold on the ceiling, also the guest in the conjoined room beating his wife and drunkenly yelling was a damper in our stay because we have 3 children who were scared, police came and did nothing so we continued listening to it until we could fall asleep.

Neysif was incredibly friendly and offered good advice about where to eat and things to see in South Padre. He made the stay more enjoyable. The pool was clean and accessible most of the day and my son really enjoyed it.

A little more variety in breakfast items would be helpful. The rugs in the main hallways should be replaced or cleaned possibly.
