Holiday Inn Express - San Antonio Airport, an IHG Hotel

Alaine greeted us with a smile and was able to honor our request for an early check-in at 11:30 am. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The shuttle was available and very quick to take us anywhere within a mile of the hotel. When we were ready to go to the airport, again the shuttle was available to take us immediately and we were the only ones on the shuttle. We used the shuttle twice and both Raj and Hector were friendly and helpful. Lastly, Victoria the manager was very visible on property and checked on everyone in the breakfast room to be certain all was well. The breakfast was plentiful with a large selection of items. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The shower water pressure was great.

Needed accommodations close to SA airport. Just minutes away and very convenient with on-demand shuttle both late afternoon (perhaps later as well) and very early morning. Great evening front desk clerk who was knowledgeable and helpful. Free happy hour with drinks and snacks (Tues - Thursday). No knowledge of breakfast as we departed very early. Will always use this hotel when flying in and out of San Antonio.

There are no negatives.

Breakfast was very good with made to order pancakes, oatmeal, cold cereal, eggs, sausage, etc. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The staff member who prepared and stocked the breakfast even came around and offered to re-fill coffee cups which we have never seen in the past. Can't say enough good things about the staff!

We fully enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, the lobby and breakfast areas were clean, the pool was clean and it is centrally located

although the pool was crystal clear and clean, the fact that it was in the middle of the parking lot, so everyone driving through was able to see because it is at a lower level than the cars driving by. also, the room was not as ample in space.

Staff very professional and helpful. Bathroom clean, great water pressure and quality soap and shampoo. Accessible luggage carts. Breakfast area and food was monitored and kept clean and stocked.

Would liked to have had the room cooler. The lowest temperature the thermostat allowed was 71 degrees.

I liked how close it was to the airport, it made it very easy for me to settle in after a long day of travel. The room was nice, clean, and quiet.

I was bummed by the limited options in the fitness center. I was hoping to be able to do my workouts, but ultimately could not do what I wanted.

Breakfast was amazing! Had two staff members guide us to where certain things were very helpful! All interactions with staff was amazing very friendly and helpful. The night we stayed the power went out but they quickly worked to get it back up when they could ! I would gladly be booking with them next time up there !

Warm reception at the desk when checking in. I would have swore I stayed there many times or was part of the family. Never been greeted in such a warm and friendly matter and if I have to travel through San Antonio again the Airport Holiday Inn Express will be my choice for sure.

I am not going to try and make up anything to dislike. The room was awesome, the shower was great. I like the way the individually wrapped the coffee pods and cups and the TV remote was sanitized and covered which is the first time I have seen. Shower was great after a couple days without. This probably should go above on likes but with nothing to dislike, it was room for more likes.

location and a standard holiday inn experience.

Google maps had us on a wild goose chase. We had to u-turn trying to get there 6 times before we just drove p the frontage road looking for it. Our room was showing some wear and tear. Corners and paint issues.

Friendly staff. I love the design of the room and how comfortable it was. Breakfast was excellent. Location was also really convenient as it was near many shops and restaurants.

We had the bad luck of having both elevators out of order the day we checked out :(
