TownePlace Suites is an excellent location for visiting San Antonio. Just a short walk to the Riverwalk and the Alamo and other attractions. Our room was comfortable and roomy. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was pretty average but lots of choices.

We had a small issue with cleanliness when we arrived but it was taken care of quickly and amicably.

I would highly recommend staying at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in San Antonio Downtown. The hotel has quick walking access to the Riverwalk and all the major must see downtown attractions. The rooms and hotel facilities were clean and attractive, and our room had a kitchenette, which was a bonus we were not even expecting. The staff at all hours of the day and night were welcoming and eager to assist with whatever needs we had. The delicious full breakfast offered fresh Texas shaped waffles, omelets, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, bagels topped with egg and bacon bits, toast and jam, cold cereal, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, and milk. Thank you to the management and staff for an enjoyable stay.

it was in a great location close to all the main attractions like the river walk,the Alamo, zoo and not far from sea world . the breakfast was good they had a great variety and change up the menu daily. and the staff was accommodating when we needed to make a change they were all very polite

The staff! Friendly and obviously well trained. When I had a problem with the parking, they took care of it immediately. Always demonstrated that they cared about my satisfaction level.

Breakfast was limited and ordinary. More like a Comfort Inn than a Marriot. I get the labor shortage issue and so its easier to dumb down the breakfast.. But its a Marriot!

It was a nice place. The room was very quiet except for the alley right outside our window where a trash dumpster was located. We heard the garbage truck at 6am!

The Valet parking!!!! Once we arrived to the hotel there wasn’t anyone there to park cars. I called the hotel and was told there was only one parking attendant for 2 different hotels!!! We waited 15 minutes and then found another location to park for the night. Your valet service lost out on $40 from me!

It was in a great location- clean and everyone was nice! Called down needed two more pillows. The front desk was very nice and said , “yes do you mind coming to grab them in about 15mins my maintenance guy is doing something else” of course we don’t mind- I said yes! About 10mins in he comes with pillows- so accommodating!

Everything was great

I loved the location. The Staff was SUPER. Hotel was always clean. I liked the added security in that you had to use your room key to enter the hotel.

Everyday, by 0900 if not sooner they ran out of breakfast items. On Saturday they ran out of breakfast items over an hour before. Breakfast was supposed to be available until 1000. By 0850, there was no breakfast. The room layout was "peculiar", and just not amenable. You had to open bathroom door against the sink, squeeze between door and toilet, then walk around the door, and close the door to use the sink. Shower door also seemed to be "backwards", in that it too opened against the sink. Room layout was just "off".

LOVED the location! Valet guys were very nice and helpful! Received our car with hardly any time to wait. Loved that kitchens were equipt with all cooking supplies!

The pool was very small. The continental breakfast eggs and sausage were not that great. Valet parking is more expensive and should be included in room price. Ice machine should be on each floor instead of lobby floor only. Rooms are very small.

the location was great! Close to what we wanted to do. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Their website said the pool was closed, but when we got there it was open. Didn’t bring any swimsuits.

The proximity to everything on Riverwalk. Sits a block from Riverwalk and restaurants. Walgreens 1/2 block to keep stocked water and any other needs. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

In-room bathroom needed a bit of attention, but water was warm no problems. Plenty of towels and ammenties.
