They offered coffee in the mornings, but I never tried it because I don't drink coffee. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. There was a TV, fridge, microwave and all the basic amenities a lone traveler needs. The location was also good and close enough to various establishments like shops, a gas station, and a movie theater.

They don't serve food, but they at least have a vending machine. For the price, this was to be expected. I would recommend ordering food or buying easy microwavable food from the various shops around. Unless you drink tap water, you might want to get water for your room as well.

This is an older motel, but it is obvious that there is pride of ownership. It is a standard room, but larger than normal fridge and small microwave are there for your convenience. It is clean and comfortable, everything you really need is provided and for the very reasonable price, I was extremely pleased. The owners are on the property and really nice to deal with. Overall this was a great choice for the excellent location.

The staff were courteous, polite, and kind very hometown kind of feel the staff even went out their way to offer a ride to the local garage with my vehicle broke down so I can pick it up when it was fixed. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was also very reasonable definitely will go again for sure

Left before breakfast was available. Room was very clean and well done. There was still evidence of being worked on but those were minor. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Loved the shampoo/conditioner and would like to know if it is availbale to purchase.

There was one small lock on the door as the other lock (flip over type) had been removed with the jam part still present. Also I had brought my cell phone car charger but not my wall plug in charger and there was no USB port to plug it into. Had to put it back in the car to charge. My mistake but would have been nice.

Location was just fine, maybe too far to walk to "downtown" but a super quick car ride. Plus, there are food options within walking distance. Simple, no frills accommodations but very comfortable and for the price; we were able to book two rooms instead of one so our teens didn't have to share a bed.

Cleanness was above and beyond what one would expect. Bed was also very comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful. Heat/AC was good and not noisy for the model. Blackout curtains. Close to convenient store, and nice breakfast place.

Although it is not the newest motel, it is extremely clean and comfortable. I look to stay here every time I come to Blacksburg because I would rather not pay $150-200 in the off-season for a newer but equally as clean and comfortable place. This is the best place for the value and the owners are so helpful, friendly and kind! The bed is comfortable and it is in a good location. Can't beat it for the price!

I am very comfortable staying here, but it is not as updated as some hotels.

My husband and I had stayed for one night on our way to do a hike to Cascade Falls trailhead. I could say this hotel is a real gem among others of this type. The hotel's building is old but well maintained. Our room was clean with a huge bed, no unpleasant smells, just clean and nice. Everything works well. Location is wonderful. We had a small talk with a host who had given us some hiking advice. It was very nice. Despite it being a rainy morning we enjoyed our hike and were very happy to do that. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Convienient location for travelling to VT, close to bus station, and supermaket. Roomy, big fridge for storing meals in the week. Close to good restaurants both by bus or walking.

Bed was a little stiff for my taste.
