We were on our way to Maine, and this was a first night stop. The location is great…only a few miles to the downtown Blacksburg area. The campus is lovely, and we really loved the architecture for the outside of the hotel. Everything was very nice in and out. Our king room was large with a view of the grounds. There is a breakfast buffet, but we left early, and didn’t partake in that. In the same restaurant they serve dinner which is very convenient. The dinner atmosphere and service were very good, but the food was maybe a little below average for the price. We were the only guests for dinner. All in all though, a nice stay.

Beautiful facility right on the VaTech Tech Campus. The staff was very professional and helpful. The facilities and property were beautiful. We were moving our daughter into her new apartment downtown during the Stepping Out festival. Bad timing. The Manager allowed us to borrow one of the luggage carts for a few hours to help move her belongings through the crowd from a nearby parking lot. It was a tremendous help. I really appreciated their flexibility and generosity. It saved us hours of work.

The only thing I wished was that there was a microwave in the room

GREAT location.

We were horrified to find that when we asked for milk for our coffee, the server brought curdled, sour milk to us. When we asked another server to rectify this, they stepped away for a moment and then came back to tell us "this happens a lot for some reason. We don't have any milk right now" Seriously? In 2023, they have problems sourcing fresh milk?!? The total fail on a basic breakfast staple was the only thing.

The location can't be beat if you are visiting VT. As usual, the staff and the room were extremely satisfactory. I never have any complaints here. They even allowed us to drop off our luggage ahead of time since we arrived earlier than check-in which was a big help.

The only reason I don't stay here every time I visit Blacksburg is that they do not offer a microwave and fridge in the room. The coffeemaker also only works to make coffee. It can not be used to just heat water. I need access to being able to heat water when I am traveling and I like to have a fridge. The rooms are also a bit small if you are planning to hang out and watch TV in the evening after a busy day. There really is no where to sit but the bed and one chair. However, that is something I can do without. The ability to heat water I can not and that makes me stay elsewhere at times... despite how much I like this hotel.

Everyone was very helpful and pleasant in their interactions. The room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. I was glad we had access to breakfast.

The breakfast could have been better. Suggestions: biscuits, oatmeal, bagels/toast, a toaster to toast them, a waffle machine

What a great hotel. Great location in VA Tech campus. I parked and didn't use my car for 4 days. Walked everywhere. Beautiful hotel design, decor and amenities. Housekeeping on request. Quiet central hvac. Super comfortable bed. Very clean. Bar and restaurant on on-site. Quiet, clean and so comfortable.

It was the perfect place for a visit to VA Tech.

My room was the cleanest and most comfortable hotel room that I have ever experienced! I give the bed l, linens and pillows 5 stars! And the bathroom was immaculate and lovely with a great shower head with excellent water pressure! Your staff at check in and check out were so respectful and friendly.

Maybe a concierge and a valet. It was raining when I arrived so I had to park a good distance from the entrance and while traveling alone, walked in the rain with my luggage.

Location to what are plans needed. Room had two comfortable chairs and it was a nice size.

The restaurant’s sandwiches were awful. Chicken dry and charred too much. 17$ for something the was almost not edible.

Location, grounds, architectural style, layout, spaciousness, quietness, cleanliness.

I wish, instead of only vending machines with small water bottles for sale, there could be purified drinking water/bottle filling dispensers in stalled on each floor.

The location was central to campus. We enjoyed a beautiful walk to the duck pond on campus. Also, just across the street there were many food options, and we were within driving distance to some great shopping.
