Quality Inn Radford-West Blacksburg I-81

This was just a one-night stop. Location was a little difficult to get into but it's conveniently located among several eating places . The staff was friendly.. continental breakfast setting was clean and the food was hot. For this level of hotel I will give it a four and a half star

The door entry key system was not working so every time I had to go back into my room I had to go to the front desk to get entry into the room. Lucky for me my room was on the first floor and the staff accommodated me very quickly

The room was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast included biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, and a pancake maker in addition to the typical breakfast items. The staff was friendly. The computer system was down when I checked in. The desk clerk had to call me to request a copy of my card to put on file. She kept apologizing for the inconvenience and was very accommodating.

As mentioned above, the check in was not as smooth due to the computer system being down; however, that was likely out of their control. Also, although the room was overall clean, there were several ants noted on the furniture supporting the TV. I didn't report it until check out. The clerk seemed very concerned and said they would take care of it right away.

When you first walk into the lobby it's so beautiful and inviting. It makes you excited to see the rooms! The women at the desk was very nice. I will definitely stay here again!!!

After you leave the beautiful lobby and go through a set of doors towards the rooms it's like you went from the plaza hotel to the bates motel. It's like more effort went into the lobby than everything else.

The room was comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast was OK. They had a decent variety, but I missed the scrambled eggs of the past. The staff was friendly and most helpful.

Everything was great except for the lack of eggs and cheese for breakfast. We still were able to eat pancakes, dry cereal (with milk), yogurt, bagels and biscuits (with sausage gravy). There was plenty of coffee and fruit juice.

I liked having the convinance of the indoor pool. For two years I've booked this hotel for my daughter's birthday. It's the best way to celebrate a teenage girls birthday with a couple of her friends.

My room smelt a bit musty, but other than that it was good.

the room was really clean and the beds comfortable. pool was great. breakfast ok. staff was great!!!

it was us but we didn’t realized the curtain had a third dark row that we didn’t see it so we couldn’t get the room dark or curtain closed. Also I understand hotels had it rough but as they get costumers they should give the doors (rooms and bathrooms) a paint job.

room to far from front desk and far from handicap parking for limited walker desk clerk on checking acted very rushed like I was keeping her from something else did not tell me how far the room was from desk area or advise me to move my car to the far entry When I told her I was out front in handicap parking

Breakfast...service...staff

I booked thru booking.com for two nights, 4/27 - 4/28. Picked a room for $74.35 but when checking out In was charged $87.35 for second night. Never happened to me before. Was told price changed for second night. ??? I'll pay more attention to booking next time

Staff was nice. Coffee was great. Breakfast was decent enough. Quiet.

Beds were the most firm I've ever experienced at a hotel and uncomfortable. The pool was not great and one of the hot tubs had brown water. Didn't even dip a toe into either. Eggs were rubbery and not good.

Everything was great - the room, the pool, the continental breakfast (amazing), and the staff...

The only thing that wasn't great was the water pressure. It was more of a mist than a shower.
