We have stayed here each VT game that we go to. The staff are very nice and the breakfast area/staff is really good. Our room was nice and cool and updated.

The only need for improvement are in the completion of the renovations. The walls (missing finishings, carpet binding)are still not done in the hallway and the decor is scarce if any in the main lobby. Seems sterile. Someone should vacuum the elevators once in a while.

The free breakfast was not even a basic continental breakfast. There were 3 types of cereal and waffles. Oh and some yogurt. They did start to put out some prepackaged honey buns as we were leaving. There was no toast, no fruit, no bagels or muffins. And if you are carb or gluten free like I am there was absolutely nothing there to eat but coffee. Although I have to say the coffee was actually pretty good. But they were very minutes in creamers. The offered hazelnut or sugar or sweetness and milk. So being keto I added some hazelnut and Splenda. I was disappointed in the breakfast because the website said buffet breakfast. We stayed there because my daughter was competing in the state gymnastics meet and we had to be there at 7:45am. It was close by and had a free breakfast. If this is what you’re looking for I might keep looking. The room was clean and they have a small indoor pool and our room had a gorgeous view of the blue ridge mountains.

Breakfast needs lots of work. More variety and more dietary restricted options for keto guests or even diabetic guests if someone is diabetic and doing their best to managed their disease your breakfast had absolutely nothing on it they could eat except the coffee but even then there are no sugar/low carb cream options. Your milk is loaded with carbs, there was no cream or half and half and the creamer you offered is full fat and full sugar.

The room was so spacious, clean, and comfortable! It was such a delight, especially after the not-so-great place we'd stayed the previous night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty tasty (some of the best hotel waffles I've every had!). It was nice to have a little indoor swimming pool. We were able to park just around the corner from the access to our room. Access to the highway and to VA Tech was easy.

It was a little hard to find for a moment. It's tucked away, kind of out of sight, behind another hotel, and the access road that leads to it looks like a dead end at first. The price was a bit high.

The property was Beautiful and clean…N close to our destination…

The Staff was sooo Unprofessional n on most days Unhelpful…They clean our room once on our whole stay, when we constantly asked for Housekeeping…Sooo if U guys can rectify that U would have an AMAZING PLACE…

The hotel was immaculate. The bed comfortable. It was relatively quiet considering its close proximity to the interstate. Check in was easy. The room was much larger than I expected.

The continental breakfast was pathetic. Waffles, coffee, watered down juice. I was very disappointed. The pool was also unattractive, greenish in appearance. The bathroom sink and shower heads were so pressure limiting that it was annoying.

The rooms were nicely updated, except the desk chair that seemed to be almost broken. The beds were very comfortable

We had ants in our room and the breakfast was just ok. Also, while the location was great, it is very close to the highway and the traffic noise could be heard throughout the night.

The hotel was convenient for our needs. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good.

The shower curtain needed replacing. Having managed a resort in the past, I'm more critical on details. There was long black hair in the tub. Furniture needed dusting.

Amy at the front desk was exceptional. My son was staying 1 night before moving into Va Tech. I called the hotel and I was concerned that my son was going to check in late in evening. She assured me that she was working until midnight and she would not give room away. I was a 20 year hotel executive in DC and cannot thank her enough for her customer service and professionalism.

I always stay at this hotel. The staff is great. They bend over backwards to make sure you’re happy.

It’s still under renovation construction in all the hallways, but that did not inconvenience us at all.

I worked in a hotel for 13 years and I’m very picky about hotel cleanliness... this place was exceptionally clean even though they were short staffed during our stay . We thank the staff for their hard work .

Only problem we had wasn’t a problem with the property it was with the gps address. Our gps kept us on the interstate instead of getting off at exit 118.. Other guests told us their gps did the same thing and if you miss the exit you have to drive 9 miles to the next exit so you can drive the 9 miles back ... just make sure to get off at exit 118 .
