SureStay Hotel by Best Western Christiansburg Blacksburg

Super clean and extremely comfy hotel. Ample rooms. The bed and comforter were so silky smooth my wife didn't want to come home. The ladies at the lobby were there for many years, treating it like a lovely home they take pride in, and there is a large housekeeping staff working hard. 24 hour coffee and teas and full breakfast free. It's surrounded by 360 degrees mountain views straight off the highway. There is a Walmart and Walgreens right up the road on Alt 75 main road. You are 20 mins north of Knoxville with a golden globe tower and nice art museum. You can park at the museum lot to go see the World's fair park. The downtown main street is super cool restored downtown - spanking new look to the historical buildings.

Tennessee is a wall to wall speed trap so beware. Google maps will warn you about speed traps but not roaming patrol cars. The highway here is two lanes with wall to wall trucks in the right lane - but a lovely hilly drive and smooth road.

Employee reached out to me via text during out stay before arriving. She kept checking bag to make sure everything was okay. I wasn't expecting it but it was great to be able to have somebody reach out in case we needed anything. We also checked out through text, no need to stop by the front desk:)

Everything was clean, and it was a great location for the value. Restaurants and groceries stores are all within less than a 5 minute drive. The only thing that put me off a bit was that even though the room was non-smoking you could tell that there had been somebody smoking there. Not the staff responsibility though, but maybe something to help with the smoke odor when cleaning.

The hotel was very clean, and I would also describe it as efficient. It was modern in that everything was updated but it's not fancy. It's a great value especially for the business traveler. It suited my needs perfectly as I didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel due to my schedule, but the room and staff were perfect for my needs.

Only minor complaints were that the breakfast was limited, but I was happy to grab something small to start my day. Also the shower head was turned toward the wall so it was difficult to get under the flow of the water. I was not able to turn it straight, and in hindsight I should have reported this to management.

Everything was very clean. The breakfast was good and had a good variety of items. The staff were very good about keeping it stocked so you didn't have to worry that there wouldn't be anything left as the time went on. Every staff member that I had contact was very friendly and professional. I will stay here again.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! The room was huge, clean, and the AC worked great, water was hot! Breakfast was way better than I anticipated (cold and warm options) and the staff were amazing. They greeted our little family (we traveled with our toddler) every morning with a smile, and treated us like family. Would for sure recommend!

Staff was friendly. They made sure we had everything we could need.

Even though we had the privacy tag on the outside of the door housekeeping tried to open our door Saturday morning and ended up waking us up.

First floor Sink, Fridge and Microwave, Roomy Closet, Good WiFi

Bathroom floor should be grouted for safety. The bathroom door didn't completely close. The TV is too small for the distance. The picture quality isn't up to standards. It's also slightly difficult to see from the right side of the bed due to the room divider. Breakfast is a little meager.

The t-v was way to small and needed to be replaced with something akin to 2024

Room - Queen Suite - spacious and comfortable. Breakfast - superb! Very clean, personnel is very friendly!

a little bit noisy - 4 lane express road is near

I was very pleased with my choice of room for one night. The choice met my needs, it's very close drive to major attractions: university, restaurants, and hotel has plenty of parking. Great choice would stay there again!

My room could have had a mini fridge but overall it was very comfortable stay.
