Holiday Inn Christiansburg Blacksburg, an IHG Hotel

It really made me upset there wasn’t a free, I mean really free breakfast! This is the first hotel we have stayed this trip with no breakfast. The free part was pitiful! 8.95 a piece for two people, McDonald’s can do better than that. For the amount we spent on this hotel the least they could do is provide breakfast!!

I liked the breakfast buffet. We stayed in the Handicap room 217 i believe. It was very nice and beneficial for my elderly father

The rooms were really dim, missing light bulbs. We asked twice for extra bulbs and never received them. Very skimpy on the towels when you ask for extra towels. Women with longer hair need extra towels. As much as a room cost, an extra towel or two should be okay.

The breakfast was an issue for us. We booked the property for the reason it was a “breakfast included” property and we were very tired traveling with kids. They charge about $10 per person for hot breakfast which is not included. Cereal, bananas , apple are the “included breakfast”. This was disappointing.

Everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable and all the appliances worked very well. The toilet in our original room stopped working, but the staff was able to swiftly move us into a different room where everything worked great.

It was adequate. If the breakfast wasn’t complimentary we would not have eaten there. The hard boiled eggs were slimey.

Could have been a little less noisy. People running in the room above us and in the halls. Slamming doors. Not the hotels fault but after a long drive it was annoying.

The room what’s very warm. You could turn the air conditioner down and it would be OK for a bit and then it would go back to the original setting and get very warm. That was a nuisance at night because we had to get up several times to lower the temperature.

When I came to holiday inn, I came in with good expectations and I was right to choose holiday inn. The lady at the front desk was kind and tried to get me and my friends as close as we can with 2 rooms. The bathrooms were clean and the towels were organized. No bugs! Overall fantastic experience!

There wasn’t much to dislike about the facility, though my keycard decided not to work at one point.

The restaurant's food was very good and priced fairly. Enjoyed the use of the exercise room and the pool. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Loved that check out was noon!

Nothing, pleasant stay!

Everything was great! The food was great , the staff was excellent! And the room was clean , pretty and spacious!

Only thing I could say negative is that the hot water in my room didn’t get very hot

The beds were comfortable. The breakfast consisted of oatmeal, pop tarts, cereal, etc. unless you wanted to pay extra for a hot buffet.

Having to pay extra for a “hot” breakfast. There was also some staining on the carpets and on the curtains-looked like fingernail polish.
