Friendly, caring and accommodating staff. Charming, comfortable, home-like rooms.

As an ADA visitor, we had an ADA room that was near perfect for slight mobility issues, not large enough for a wheelchair and toilet was not ADA height (bars were great in bath and shower needed hand held head for seat convenience). Next time we will know to reserve the ADA suite and work directly with the Inn. Booking.com should have a better query for ADA client needs in Inns and hotels.

The Oakhurst is a cute little boutique hotel on the edge of the UVA campus. While you can't walk to downtown, it's a great location for the campus. It's stylish and the beds are comfortable. Free chilled water bottles in the shared sitting area were a nice perk.

The marketing materials suggested the hotel is on a quiet street, but while it fronts onto a quiet street and neighbourhood, it backs onto a really busy noisy large road. Our room was quite noisy, and the ceiling fan also made a noise, so we couldn't use it. It was a small room, but there was a shared sitting room, and we were only there a single night so it was okay.

Everything was wonderful the only thing that confused me were the prices. The food, the staff, basically everything with one exception, I paid approximately $400 a night and yet on their website there were specials I qualified for, and when I searched for prices many were a lot less. More transparency would be nice and if you’re offering discounts, somebody should communicate that to you when you check in.

great location within walking distance from Grounds and the Corner. Unique, lovely property, huge windows in the Inn. bed amazingly comfortable. Staff VERY helpful. white noise machine found in bureau was helpful blocking out nearby road noise. breakfast in nearby Cafe delicious.

glasses in room were dirty. Had trouble controlling the heat/cooling unit in the room; tried calling the front desk but no one answered the phone. just opened the window and turned on the fan.

Very lovely hotel. Very fresh and clean. There’s no parking on the street, but they offer complimentary valet service, so all good. Rooms are very well decorated and super cozy. All the common areas too. Clean, fresh and look beautiful.

Just don’t eat breakfast in their cafe. Everything that we ordered was disgusting. I thought how can you go wrong with avocado toast? In this place you can 😬 Save yourself some disappointment and go eat in downtown.

Small boutique hotel with character. There was an on-site cafe(great coffee drinks/food)and low key tasteful bar/entertainment (piano/cello).The hotel feels private but close to everything in the Charlottesville area. The staff is very welcoming-love the southern charm!

This location is absolutely perfect! It's conveniently located near some really great places to eat and the downtown mall is only about an 8 minute drive away! The bar and cafe on the property are wonderful, and we absolutely loved the common areas!

Our room was a little small, but honestly it made it kind of cozy!

Room was clean and comfortable. Nice size bathroom. Great location from downtown and walkable. We were grateful for the couch and chairs in our double queen room.

While the bathroom was modern and a very nice size, the drain was a bit slow. I believe it was the design -- not a clog or issue with the plumbing. Nice area to sit outside and a common area separate from the rooms was a nice touch.

What an absolutely wonderful place! Our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We loved all the books that were decorating the walls and the room had a lot of natural light. The cooler was always stocked with water bottles, and the staff were quick to provide us with wine glasses and a bottle open upon request. We will definitely be back!

The parking was a bit scarce, but nothing we couldn't manage!

The staff, Jake in particular, were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food at Oakhurst Inn Cafe was exceptional.

The floors were a bit loud as our room was in an older building.
