It was very nice and kept up very well. It looks like a really fancy, high dollar hotel when you walk into the lobby. The room was very comfortable and clean and I really liked & appreciated that the staff was able to help me check in an hour and a half early. It is VERY secure and safe and in a decent neighborhood. I felt very safe and comfortable staying here as a solo traveler (single woman) and would for sure stay again.

The only thing I didn’t care for is that when I was there the pool had a small bit of debris floating around in it and when I showered after swimming I had to pick a dead bug out of my hair.

The location, the room, the breakfast was all fantastic.

The older gentleman with a heavy thick accent was very rude and disrespectful. I didn't appreciate that he yelled at me to inform me that there was no elevator for me to bring my luggage cart into the lobby. I told him it would have been nice if he told me before I brought all my luggage. He yelled at me and said it is not his responsibility to let me know. When I checked out the next day I did ask for his name from another staff member. His name began with an M....Millet or Milhad. He was very rude to other guests as well especially to the gentleman who was from Ireland. So very unprofessional.

Rooms were nice and clean. Large outdoor pool that is very well maintained and lifeguard/ attendant on duty while open.

There is no elevator for 3 floor hotel. If you have trouble with stairs, request a bottom floor. Our daughter had knee surgery and had problems getting up and down. Access to lobby, breakfast area required going up and down stairs. Location of hotel is in a weird triangle intersection of the road at a red-light that can make getting in and out difficult.

The location is very close to George Mason University and the drive was not terrible getting there. I was greeted when I 1st checked in by 2 staff members. I believe one may have been the manager and took time to explain what time to explain what the hotel offered and offered and how wonderful the breakfast would be and not to miss it. The breakfast was very delicious and very well stalked.

I will say it could use some updating in the the carpet and the bed was lumpy. Pillars were fine and everything was clean. I always take my own sheets and pillowcases because it's just me but it was very clean and I probably would have been fine using theirs.

We loved everything!! We had booked a house for a stay of 14 days for family of 5 with kids, but we were told it was flooded when in flight from England. We had to reserve a hotel urgently when we landed and chose Best Western due to location close to GMU. Because we had kids asked for a connecting room which we got. The staff, Samira and night staff, were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and kids loved it. Due to further problems and issues with staff of other property, we decided to stay at the Best Western again for the rest of our stay!!!

This place, I am sure, was quite the place when it was built. Now, it is a mid-century classic, showing what a swanky suburban hotel used to be like. Loved it! It has a great breakfast room with plenty of space. The prices were reasonable compared to the usual D.C. area gouging!

Access is a problem getting in or out of the parking lot due to the traffic waiting for the nearby traffic to turn green.

Rooms are large, clean, with comfortable beds. Complimentary breakfast is outstanding. The pool is great size and the water was crystal clear and refreshing.

The property is located at a very interesting intersection in Fairfax, Va.; and traffic tends to block the entrance to the property

The property was clean, quiet, had easy access to the interstate, was near a Metro station, and was reasonably priced. There was a good variety of choices for breakfast and the food was good.

There is no elevator so ask for a bottom floor room if you have difficulty with stairs.

Great location for a girls trip to DC. Staff members we encountered were friendly. Gloria in the breakfast room is a treasure! We remembered her from our visit 4 years ago. So nice to see her again, and she's a big reason why we'd return.

Kinda weird there wasn't a fan in the bathroom, but there was a vent. That helped somewhat.

Staff were friendly and cooperative. When I checked in, my room was not ready but the lady at the desk was very helpful in finding a prompt solution because I was in a hurry; she gave me a room for people with needs, which was fine with me.

I suspect the room had not been used in a while and, although it was clean, I found a spider and a dead 'stink bug.' Once the air conditioner kicked in, I didn't run into any critters.
