Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Independence VA

My sister, brother & I stayed in a Extremely nice, Very Clean & already cool room which we were so thankful due to it being a hot summer day, the bathroom was so very nice also, the two large beds in our room was Very Comfortable, the room had a small coffee maker with cups wrapped in cellophane & their was packs of coffee grounds & the sides needed for your coffee, the continental breakfast was great and nice vending machines & of course free ice > Also, we Loved that the floor in our room was a wood like looking material, again, Very Clean & we had Very good water pressure & lots of hot water with our showers, we had a nice large T.V., a nice microwave, a fridge that kept our bottles of water very cold, a very nice table with a chair to do your computer work if needed & a extra nice comfortable, cushy chair AND “( FREE WIFI )” And the staff was so friendly & they went above & beyond the normal to assist us in any way we needed, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this recently updated place & we Will Definitely go back there.

Maybe some anti slip grip strips in the tub & maybe a handle to grip as you get out of the tub.

Breakfast was very adequate for adults and children. Hot and cold cereals, granola bars, variety of fresh fruit, hot coffee plus milk and juice in refrigerator. We were "grab and go", so very easy. There were other guests enjoying breakfast in the nicely furnished breakfast room, with big TV.

It's hard to be better than excellent.

The price of our room was reasonable. We enjoyed a short, 30 minute drive to The Blue Ridge Music Center for an outdoor concert. The scenery in this part of Virginia is breathtaking.

The coffee was great but the continental breakfast selection was slightly below average.

I booked on line and that was very easy. The good reviews that led me to choose this hotel, were no exaggeration. Staff was very friendly. Every area that I saw was very clean. Continental breakfast had quite an assortment of choices. Given the opportunity, we’ll stay here again!

The room was great and so clean. The guy at the front desk was very polite and helpful. My son and I left an awful hotel at 9:30 at night and booked here with no issue. They were so accommodating and helpful when this mama was in tears and exhausted. I appreciate all they did for us while we were here and would stay again without question. By the way, the pricing here was even more reasonable then the awful one we left that we couldn’t get our money back from.

I don’t think I have anything bad to say about my experience here.

Hotel was very clean . staff was very friendly especially with our late check in . They even called to make sure we where still coming & what time we would be arriving. Room was clean . Bed was comfortable.

Air conditioner in room wasn’t very cold .

Breakfast was just what you would expect from a continental breakfast. Average selection, everything was fresh. Area was clean. Thanks for hospitality. Hotel was very Clean!!! Plenty of parking, in a safe area.

Everything was better than expected honestly. However the beds were very hard. The is my only complaint, you cant beat the place for the price.

Staff were friendly and helpful. My wife injured her knee before we left home and they moved our room from the 2nd floor to the first without us having to ask. Facility was clean and modern. Rooms were comfortable.

Not much to tell. The stay was excellent for the money. The breakfast could use a little improving.

I would rathe carpet in the room…around the bed area, but the floors was new and clean, and I understand the benefit for vinyl flooring….no big deal just more comfortable.

Clean & quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Faux hardwood floor in the room. The room had a microwave & refrigerator. Close to the New River Trail State Park.

Hard pillows. Glad I brought my own.
