The staff was nice and helpful. The lady that cleaned our room was super. She checked on us, made sure we had what we needed, and kept the place very clean. Rooms are cutely decorated but are starting to get run down.

They say they offer hot breakfast but it was far below standard for saying that. Putting a box of cornflakes on the table, no butter for the frozen toater waffles, muffins, and processed eggs out does not qualify. Then, if you got down there after 7 am, it was pretty much gone. It was sad.

Breakfast was a lot better than hotels of this price level. The pool was also nice.

The rooms have a variety of cleanliness level in this place. At first we were given a roam at the back side, smelled humid and there were roaches (2 dead in bathroom, two alive, around the fridge), then we asked for a change, we were given a very clean room and the mountain view was a bonus, it became more than value for the price. If you book here, book early and ask for rooms on the front side.

Room didn’t have washcloths when we got to the room, call down to front desk and they didn’t have access to them, waited about 1 hour before being delivered 2 washcloths.

Everything was great.

The parking lot on the back side needs to be able to let water run off of it. It rained the whole 2 1/2 days I was there, and I had to park and walk through water puddles.

I liked everything

The hotel is located very conveniently right off I81, yet up on a hill, so you don't hear the noise of the interstate. The new decor gives a nod to the 1970s which reflects the heyday of Howard Johnsons... fun!

Breakfast bar was lacking.

Room was nice and quiet. Very comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Pool was open and very well maintained. Even had a kiddie pool for my 3 year old.

Room had a mildew smell when we got there. Air was set on 78 and it was a hot day. When we kicked temp down to 68 it eventually cleared out. Found trash under the beds that had been missed by cleaners. Bathroom was TINY and tub badly stained.

The location.. far away from things but not to far. it was quiet.

The room had a weird smell. Almost like the room had been not used in awhile.
