This hotel was lovely, the room was spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location of this hotel was perfect. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The only thing we wish we had was a kettle or coffee machine. I knew there wasn't one when we booked and you can get free coffee in the bar, but the bar closed early one night, just before 10pm and when we came back all the bar tender said was we could go to another hotel for a coffee. Not ideal. Otherwise we had a lovely stay!

I loved the beautiful interior of the inn when I walked in. the staff was great, the room was lovely and clean and the bathroom was fantastic. I loved the robe and slippers provided. the bed was comfortable, I didn't want to leave it! love the bath and body works toiletries

the mini fridge made some weird noises sometimes but I also had the wardrobe open and I could have just shut it.

The parking that is available is absolutely the WORST! It is VERY tight and VERY small. They do not mention this when you are checking in and say you want to park on the property. I drive a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee (for reference) and it was close with some backing up and pulling forward just to get out of it. I would recommend the public parking lot that is about the same cost a block up from the hotel.

I loved the location and the fact that the hotel is a historic inn built back in 1864. The staff was friendly and they had a doorman who helped put away all the luggage. It was something I was not expecting since it was pretty affordable to stay at the hotel.

The photos online made it seem like there was a standing shower in the unit. It did not have that. It had a normal tub but it was not bad by any means. Just not what I expected.

Beautiful historic building located in NW section of Washington D.C. close to three Metro entrances and many bus lines. The room is quiet, very clean and tastefully modern. They have a small bar in the lobby. The breakfast menu offered tasty eggs, waffles, french toast and granola. There are many restaurants, and bakeries within walking distances. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Cleanliness was off the charts. Not too perfumey. Service was fantastic. Size of hotel was just right, felt exclusive. Great tv on a swivel so it could be viewed wherever one was sitting. Windows open. Very pleasant public spaces, I enjoyed the courtyard landscaping.

It was a long walk to the Mall, but not close enough to the metro to make that a good choice. There is a bus route that I would look into next time.

The room was very comfortable, and with the exception of fresh coffee which they have as conolimentary in the lobby, the room had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable, room was quiet and nicely laid out. The staff (particularly the valets) were excellent - very cheerful and welcoming. Location was a shirt 10 minute walk to Mt Vernon metro or 15/20 minutes walk to Metro Center.

The decor was beautiful, the room was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The valet parking was also convenient eventhough it was expensive. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel layout was extremely confusing. There are two separate sides to the hotel that don't connect and no one told us, so we go lost looking for our room. Also the room is pretty small so I wouldn't recommend it for people with kids.

I like the cleanness and the professionalism of the staff.

The only issue was related to my invoice which had different rats for each days to claim reimbursements from my employer. As I am Government employee, I was expecting to receive the same rate rather promotional rates as it was advertised via the booking.com which was under the USG rate.

1) I wish our room was on a higher floor so we could have opened the drapes. We were below street level so our windows looked directly to the sidewalk. 2) We were told there was a good chance we’d get valet parking at the hotel but it could not be guaranteed and if needed we’d be directed to a nearby municipal lot. When we got to the lot and parked we learned it was private and exorbitantly priced.
