The staff was great and breakfast buffet in the morning was the beat I ever witnessed! Located in the heart of downtown which made the stay the beat. Shopping was amazing with accommodations to all top of the line ..shops like lv, Gucci, Tiffany's ..I had a great stay

What didn't make my trip perfect was the drain. In the tub was clogged the entire stay and just the thought of having to deal with that was a headache the entire stay but other than that the hotel is top 5 in the downtown area pound for pound

High quality hotel, clean, comfortable, very good breakfast with eggs/omelette/fresh fruit, quite close to all attractions, friendly stuff

It happens the second time this week - at two different hotels - we have a room for 4 and we get the towels and bed linen only for 3. Of course they fix it quickly, but it’s quite annoying to have to remind the stuff about it. Fix the process, the reservation is quite clear how many people check in. It could get very busy at breakfast, the hotel knows that and tries to warn the visitors about the busy times. Also there are no vegetables choices for the breakfast other than those you can choose at the omelette stand.

Breakfast was exceptional. Made-to-order omelets, yogurt, pancakes, french toast, cereals, muffins, bagels, etc. Not much fresh fruit, however, which was a little disappointing. The King Corner Suite we stayed in was also exceptional. Very comfortable, clean, well laid out, and nice views of the city. Location was very good, a 15-minute walk to the National Mall. Managers Evening Reception had a nice variety of drinks, but only bagged snacks. Hot wings, vegetable-and-dip platter or finger sandwiches would have been nice.

$67 per night for parking was highly exorbitant. Outrageous! I could have parked down the street for $45 for 24 hours, or taken advantage of several weekend or early bird specials in the area for $15 or $17 for 24 hours. Embassy should be providing a low cost parking service to their "valued" customers, not charge outrageous fees in excess of local rates.

Location, facilities, cleanliness

Room had a cold draft no matter what you set the thermometer at. Breakfast space was extremely crowded in the morning. Eat before 7:30am if you don't want to stand in line. $65 for parking was steep but you pay for the convenience.

Staff was very courteous and helpful -especially assisting me to find reliable transport back to the airport since we had to depart the hotel at 4am. Room and linens were very clean and comfortable. View from the room was nice.

Breakfast was nice - my only suggestion would be to add cut up fresh fruit and bacon to the buffet daily. A regular coffee bar free of charge available to guests most hours of the day would be nice. The food and cocktails at the restaurant were delish however the restaurant was only open for dinner- it would’ve been great if it was also open for lunch as well. Lastly it would’ve been nice if there was no fee to check in early if the room was already available anyway- I arrived at the hotel at approx 12-12:30 and my room was available but I was charged a 25$ fee to check in early.

I liked the corner window view, the very comfortable bed and pillows, the pullout bed in the living room (our son used this), the wonderful food at breakfast, Happy Hour ;-), and the location. I also enjoyed the valet parking.

There was no fan in the bathroom.

This was our first time staying at an Embassy Suites. From the time we entered the lobby we could tell by the bustling guest activity that it would be accommodating. Great concierge. We are handicapped. Our suite was clean and smelled as though it was--no odor. Re: Brookstone Restaurant. Room Service and the Continental breakfast are stellar. The crispy chicken sandwich and chili sauce wings we had delivered to our room have no worthy competitors--flavorful, great portions, excellent texture. I'm home now and can't stop thinking about it. I'm a mature resident. The restaurant and hotel staff treated us like royalty--queens for our stay. We met some lovely people as well 😍🌹🌹🌹.

The thing I disliked was that I had I could not stay any longer 😜☺️.

Staffing was exceptional. Customer service was exceptional. The valet was exceptional. The Bellmen were exceptional. I definitely had a favorite! Front desk staff were exceptional. Housekeeping did everything to keep us comfortable and was exceptional! Breakfast was delicious, and the omelet making team... exceptional. The evening cocktail/ bar team was extremely friendly. It was neat to see the lady mixologist on an advertisement in your lobby. When i said something to her about being in the advertisement, her reaction was wonderful. The smoky old fashion was perfectly executed. What you have is a well-oiled machine with staff that take pride in their work and have customer service in their blood. When I return to DC, I will return to Embassy Suites. Job well done!

The furniture in the suite was lack luster, and your towels are SUPER bleached. I understand why the beach is used but adding softener could help.

Location was great. Easy walk to sites and restaurants. Free breakfast with made to order omelette.

Construction. Also small sun dries/snack area but you have to wait in the line for the front desk to buy anything.

Great location! 7 minute walk from metro center. Also on yellow circular bus. Very nice welcoming staff. Good work out room. Laundry in the basement was a plus. CVS around the corner was helpful. Great breakfast 6:30/9:30 M- F, 6:30-10:30 during the weekend and complimentary evening reception was good. 6-7:30 pm. Snack options could have been better and laid out better as the line was often really long. We were there over spring break and the place was packed, but everyone was very nice/ helpful. The separate bedroom from living room 2 room suite as typical of embassy suites is great for traveling with kids!

Our first room the pull out couch bed was horrible. I have never had a couch mattress that bad. You could feel every spring, the bed bars underneath, and no cushion. It reminded me of an old mattress you'd find in the basement of an old house. We did get changed to a different room and that mattress was much better, but still not a memory foam mattress like other hotels have now in the pull out beds. The beds are only double beds, not queen size - just be aware.
