Location is extremely close to the convention center. Bed was comfortable. Room was cleaned daily. Front desk staff was pleasant and personable. Building has it's own old charms. Functional A/C (A/C unit is on a switch)
WATCH OUT FOR LIGHTS IN BUSHES! The passenger unloading "area" requires you to pull your car to the left. There are spotlights in the bushes and if you're in anything smaller than a truck you'll hit your door into them. Wifi was awful. We couldn't use it our entire trip. For the price the lack of breakfast was a bit disappointing. And restaurant was too expensive to justify when other local options existed for the same or less. Very VERY loud. This isn't a slight against the hotel so much. But the street side rooms hear every little noise outside. Sirens, conversations, cars, scooters, etc.

The location is outstanding, the hotel was remodeled keeping true to the period, with beautiful warm tones and furnishings. Valat parking was well worth it and well done. The restaurant and servers were wonderful, making myus feel welcome and well fed, no tiny portions here! The room was clean and beds comfortable.
Only a few minor complaints, there was no mini fridge, and an upgrade to the in room coffee would have been much desired offering real cream and a few more digars.the bathroom had much to be desired, it looked like an afterthought with no storage or shelf space at all. It did not meet the standards of the rest of this charming hotel But it was clean and housekeeping made sure we had plenty of fresh towels.

The Henley Park Hotel is an excellent place to stay, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The building itself is stunning, with a charming retro decoration that gives it a unique and historical feel. I loved the ambiance, which added to the overall experience. The hotel was impeccably clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I was very satisfied with the amenities and atmosphere.
The only downside was the staff’s level of engagement. While they were polite, I found the service, particularly at checkout, to be slower than expected. I spent over 10 minutes waiting, despite only two people being ahead of me. It seemed like the process could have been more efficient. A bit more proactiveness from the staff would improve the overall experience. That said, it was a very good stay, and I would still recommend the hotel.

The location of the hotel is very good, and the room, despite with quite old forniture, was confortable and clean.
I booked this hotel specificaly because it offered free parking, but when I arrived the clerk told me that they didn't have any reservation with parking included. After a few moments, a different person approached and told me that the parking was in fact included at the reservation. Later at night I received, at my room, a charge for the valet service, but when I checked out and complained about it, they cancelled the charges for it.

It is a charming older hotel, but pretty well kept. The staff at the entrance were very attentive, polite, and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were firm, which I prefer. Often hotel pillows are too soft for me.
Their computer system was down when I came in and they said they would bring me keys, but never did. I had to be shown to my room. Not a huge problem because I got in at 10pm and only stayed one night. Also wish it was easier to get hot water for tea that wasn’t full of coffee grounds, this is a common problem for me in hotels as often the coffee maker is the only way to get hot water.

Taylor warmly welcomed us upon arrival and was super sweet and kind. She got us checked in and fully explained the valet costs and process. Oscar, Tsion and Alexa also at the front desk were very polite and attentive to our needs during our stay. Usha and Donald who work in the restaurant were fantastic. Restaurant was immaculate, food was delicious and the presentation beautiful. We absolutely loved staying here. I believe the hotel was built in 1918 and looks stunning. Room was immaculate and well cared for during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and it we visit Washington DC again, will certainly be staying here again ❣️
What we didn't like.... Was having to leave. Would have loved to stay longer ❤️ Thank you to everyone at the hotel for each person's role in making this trip so special. Boundless love and best wishes to you all! Sincerely, Jerry Holden

For the value, this is the best hotel you can get. This hotel is part of the heritage hotels of America. It looks old yet maintained from the outside. The inside is clean and organised. The staff is polite, efficient, and professional. There is also water for public in front of the lobby. The lift works efficiently. There is a gym on the second floor. The room is large (deluxe king), bright, clean, and comfortable. Bed is comfy and the bathroom is clean and the hot water works. There is a coffee machine with regular and decaf coffee tablets/pods. No fridge but that's ok since we only stay for one night. Location is very good. DC is a 'big' city. It's not really walkable so you need either Uber or metro or scooter or bike. But the hotel is 'between' the White House and the Smithsonian museums. There was a 60 USD deposit required and the reserved had been released just before I wrote this review. Overall, an excellent experience! Would come back to this hotel when visiting DC again!
The window is a bit thin so during the day it could be a bit noisy. But at night we slept well and didn't hear anything. Other than that, there is nothing else to complain about.

The location and overal aesthetic of the hotel was excellent. I got an upgraded room, and it was very nice and comfortable. I would stay there again.
The WiFi was not strong, and I had trouble streaming videos and accessing some work systems while I was there. Also, the clearning staff does not knock and just walks into your room. Given the first day, when I had just arrived, this situation was quite a suprise. Hot water could use some work. I learned to turn on the tap and wait for it to warm up.

The room was quite spacious and we were very comfortable. The location was great too, quite close to the metro and had lots of dining options within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious (and worth paying for). Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the bellhop (I wish I could remember his name, but he was Cameroonian) and the receptionists.
The gym was very cramped and I could barely move around even with just one other person in there. Otherwise, a pretty perfect stay.

Even though the hotel is 3 stars, Willis and Marble gave us a 5 star treatment. They went above and beyond. Willis, even though is very senior, offered to help me carrying the bags from my car, but I refused. When he also learned there is 3 of us, he offered me 3 bottles of water and an extra hotel card without me even asking. Marble when she learned we had issues with our AC came to our room herself and checked up on us, brought us a fan, and bottles of water too. We felt really valued and respected.
That there are no extra beds or twin room beds
