La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Lynnwood

From the moment we checked in till we left the staff went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. The breakfast staff were run off their feet but still smiled and helped us find what we needed. Each day the room was cleaned and bed made. Fantastic job.

While eating breakfast, sitting with many BIPOC and LGBTQ+ as well as Hispanic and Asian people there was NEWSMAX PLAYING ON THE TELEVISION. Newsmax, with its simple red, white, and blue lower third chyron and utterly innocuous name, Newsmax TV could be a minor news network like any other. Except it’s not. Newsmax TV is an ultra-conservative outlet that’s been operating on the fringe since 1998. And yet here we were sitting, having breakfast with all these beautiful people and we were subject to a rant on how evil transgender people are.

Room was spacious, bed comfortable, bathroom clean. Check-in/out was easy. We stayed on a Wednesday night, and on Thursday morning the breakfast was wall-to-wall people. Kudos to the staff for keeping up with the demand. Next time we'll get down there earlier. Appreciated the TV and the wide array of channels offered. Also liked the motel's proximity to a good Japanese restaurant (just walk through the parking lot, around the strip mall, and voila). Appreciated the in-room fridge and microwave. Solid Wi-Fi.

The AC unit in the room seemed to be fighting with itself all night -- cool, then ambient warm air, then cool . . . it was not too loud but noticeable. Elevators could use a little cosmetic TLC.

Our 2-night stay here was enjoyable with zero stress. Check-in was smooth and friendly. The room was comfortable, including the bed. Hot water in the sink came fast. Wi-Fi was consistent. Breakfast was not great but more than adequate (the scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy). The Japanese restaurant within walking distance was good! The desk chair was faulty, so when I told the front desk about it, a new chair was brought to our room within 3 minutes! That's good service! We will stay here again I'm sure. 😊

The TV remote didn't work as well as we liked, but that didn't seem a big enough problem to tell the front desk about. Next time we will.

The entire hotel Has been restored in the last 6 months and it's quite clean and beautiful inside. Some things like the breakfast area have been rearranged to better use. Looks great! We were very sad that the hot tub wasn't working. It was there, looked clean and inviting, but a sign said closed and the front desk couldn't tell us when it would be usable. We'll call to check that it is working before making reservations next time as this is important to our "old bones".

The facility was easy to reach from I-5 North. The building was recently renovated and it was sparkling clean throughout. I loved the quick flush toilet. It was the best I have ever had. The room was spacious and the temperature was easily regulated. I especially liked that we could walk for just a few minutes to a fabulous, small Japanese bistro. The food and staff were excellent. The breakfast buffet was quite adequate. This is a pet friendly hotel, such a rarity.

For an overnight stay, there is nothing that could make it better.

I feel so sad that I didn’t tip the room cleaning staff. I had the tip money ready for them. I just forgot to lay it down. I didn’t remember until I got to the Airport. Location was good, but construction around it was hard to navigate to and from the hotel.

Pool and hot tub Bed was comfortable Nice mirror and timers on lights Lots of pillows, mini fridge and microwave Breakfast was constantly packed and hard to complete a task but clean and constantly refilled throughout the morning.

Gym was uncomfortable because the heat was so high and the staff was unable to turn it down. Humid from the pool area didn't help. Thin walls and hallway were loud late night due to guests not hotels fault.

It was a nice hotel, with plenty of parking. It was super clean, the staff were friendly (they were nice enough to let us check-in a little earlier, for the baby’s nap). They had a good variety for the breakfast. And there’s a Target and Crumbl Cookies a couple minutes away! Their pool was also nice and clean. They are pet friendly which was a huge selling point for us. And there’s plenty of grassy space for the dogs to do their business.

Ground floor room was convenient for taking our pets out for a walk. Beds and furnishings were comfortable. Room was sparkling clean. Staff were helpful, and the breakfast (biscuits and sausage gravy with scrambled eggs was outstanding!).

I would be willing to chip in a couple of bucks to get better wi-fi speed. The free wi-fi was so weak, continually dropping, and slow, slow, slow, it might even be better not to offer it. I'd rather pay something and have a real connection.

Anyone at the front desk was very helpful, full of smiles & personality. All of the staff was great. The room was so updated & we absolutely loved it. will be going to this location whenever we need it. The breakfast was a better selection than just bagels or cereal, clean & had many options. Can we talk about a noon check out time? Couldn’t love that any more than I did sleeping in! You thank us for staying, thank you for having us😊
