The staff was excellent! Friendly, efficient, helpful. The location is amazing, being right on the beach access road and in walking distance of shops and food. I was very happy with the price since it was the hotel with the best location in town.

We didn't get towels refreshed for an overnight stay. We were there 2 nights, and to get fresh towels and rags, we had to request it because there is no services for short stays. I thought that was weird. But they delivered fresh towels and rags as soon as they were out of the drier, and the staff that delivered it was super nice. It would also be nice if the restaurant could get back up and running.

Morgan, Mary and the other lady who helped us at the front desk were beyond wonderful! They are what "made" our stay. The hotel is beautiful and has every amenity you could want and then some, even if things are a bit older, it's still just perfect! The room was spacious, kitchen (microwave, fridge and sink) with table and chairs and there was a good view of the ocean. The pool was a great treat, although chilly, it was just like the good 'ol days It was a most memorable trip for my girls and I <3

The size of the room was great; bigger than I thought. Very clean and neat, and quiet. Nice size refrigerator and microwave. I really enjoyed using the little fireplace. Staff was very helpful. When we checked in they had to change room to pet friendly, and it was $8.00 cheaper than originally purchased. Very nice!

It did have a coffee machine and coffee (but only decaf). There were no spoons or coffee stirs in the room; we could have used some. My husband could of used to regular coffee, not decaf. The room was also very cold. I had to turn the cooler off and turn on the heat.

I’m a big fan of the ocean so I’m always inclined to having a fun time at beach side hotel. I’ve been to the Silho before and I’d definitely go again, the rooms are very nice and kept as clean as possible, along with having very friendly staff. The location is also in a perfect spot, being close to a pizza restaurant and several souvenir shops in walking distance, which is very convenient.

Me and boyfriend had some difficulty with the wifi, when we tried watching a movie on our laptop it just kept buffering and made it inconvenient. I’m not sure if it was a one time occurrence or if it’s always like that but it was the only real issue I had.

The front desk staff was very friendly. House keeping was very friendly and accommodating with fresh towels and taking used ones and garbage right at the front door of our room. They front desk called me after I checked out to let me know house keeping found some ear buds left in our room after we checked out and offered to ship them to our home. That was amazing to me.

Didn't find anything except the resteraunt being closed but understandable!

Love the location where you can walk around different shops, love the pool and hot tub, rooms were decently sized.

Pillows were so bug and hard they hurt my neck, found garbage under one of the sinks, the patio was dirty with sand and someone's fake nails. I'd still come back but hopefully they clean more thoroughly and get better pillows.

There was no breakfast - restaurant and bar closed. Bed was comfortable. Lots of space in room.

wasThe restaurant was closed. Had to eat out. Toilet handle didn't work properly, continued to run till jiggling it. Balcony was very "soft" in areas. Waiting extra time to get into my room while 5 to 6 other groups got onto theirs at least 1 hour ahead of check in time.

The location is great. The staff is friendly. It has a pool. For a little family get away, it is totally acceptable! Our kids liked the room- third floor with balcony and ocean view. Loved watching the sunset.

Outdated, dusty, some mold around the window to the balcony and some water coming through the bottom of the door (balcony) when it was raining. Not enough to be a true hazard, but was still off-putting. The hot tub water was an odd color, with some grime where the bubbles hit the sides. Could definitely use furniture and decor upgrades, but it was fine for a couple night stay with kids.

I stayed in ocean shores this weekend 3/10/22-3/13/22. During my stay, there was an unfortunate event with a pipe leak. The staff calmly and efficiently did everything in their power to accommodate everyone affected by this. They showed compassion and grace in an unforseen incident. Every employee I encountered was beyond amazing. I plan on staying here every year I attend. If I'm going to be in a place that has something unexpected go wrong, I want it to be this place, with this staff, because I know I will be taken care of. I can't express the gratitude I have for this hotel. Thank you for accommodating every need we had. You all did amazing! Justin R. room 420

Love the rooms so comfortable and a very beautiful view of the ocean.

That check in time is 4 o'clock but you have to check out at 11 so the first day of your stay is almost over already by the time you check in... check out time and check in time should be close enough together so you actually get a whole day for the price you spend.
