The Swan Hotel

beautiful view. great location. Room clean and comfortable. coffee pot, fridge and microwave. nice toiletries comfy bed curtains could use some improvement with regard to the light that comes in, in the morning. But adequate curtains with regard to privacy. An overhead fan that is quiet, for air circulation. we did not have AC in our room, but between the fan and the open window, we were very comfortable temperature-wise. We stayed 4th of July night which likely caused elevated pricing? Buy we were altogether happy with our stay.

perhaps add shades in addition to swag curtains? all other aspects as expected satisfactory

There was no breakfast. Location was great.

From midnight to after 1: 00 a.m., the person upstairs was making a LOT of noise. It finally stopped for a few hours and then startled again at 6:00 -- and went until after 7:00, when he/she slammed the door and left. We have no idea what the person was doing to make so much noise right over our head but it kept us awake for several hours. Perhaps we should have gotten dressed and gone upstairs and asked him/her to stop, but we kept thinking it would stop any time. We do not fault the management for this, as they had know way of knowing unless we got dressed at 2:00 a.m. to complain.

Staff was awsome. The group in the penthouse above our room was very noisy with music and partying and were just inconsiderate until about 3am. Another room left early in the morning due to the noise. The next day the staff absolutely shut that down. If anyone complained again they would ask them to leave immediately. So we had a great evening/night after that. So thank you so much. If you want to party go somewhere else..

We stayed in one of the cute cottages and it was adorable! Big room, nice desk, comfy seating area. We were just across the street from the Northwest Maritime Center, a short walk to shops and restaurants, and a stroll away from Point Hudson with whale watching trips and more restaurants. Our greeting was super friendly and the host helped us find a spot on the street for our oversized van.

The bathroom was a little small and the walls don't go all the way up so if you're into the bathroom as a retreat you might want to go for a room in the main buildings.

It was a very convenient location for exploring downtown Port Townsend and going to the movie and the restaurant we booked. Comfortable bed. Everything seemed clean. Chairs on the deck were nice but it was too cold to enjoy them.

There was one wicker chair and one desk chair. A pair of like chairs would have been nice. The stairs on the way up looked old and in need of replacement. I wondered about their safety. I read that a room guide explained TV stations, but I didn't find one.

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff! The room and bathroom were spotless. The linens looked new, and the coffee maker was the nicest one I’ve ever used in a hotel room. My husband and I especially appreciate the use of compostable coffee pods, paper wrappings on all the bathroom soaps etc. The owners are clearly trying to promote a user friendly AND environmentally friendly stay.

Wish I could have stayed more than one night - the view from my water-facing room was incredible to wake up to. Super friendly staff, easy parking, and a clean, comfortable room. I will stay here again if I return to Port Townsend!

Has wonderful little separated cottages. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Port Townsend, which I did! Fort Worden, its hikes and its views, are only five minutes away by car. Room had coffee in it, which I appreciated in the morning, and okay Wi-Fi. Room also had a mini-fridge was useful to me.

The Wi-Fi was slow and iffy, which was too bad because I did kind of depend on it (my cell phone didn't have good signal in that spot).

The hotel is in a wonderful location, near the marina and within walking distance of the downtown area of Port Townsend. Fort Worden, with it's beautiful grounds and beaches, is a short drive away. The cottages have a private patio area with lawn chairs. Sitting outside with a morning cup of coffee or glass of wine in the late afternoon was very pleasant. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the staff people were friendly and helpful.

We have no complaints.

Wonderful place! Very friendly staff, perfect location, walking distance to everything, parking literally 2 feet from my room door. Clean, comfy bed, wonderful shower, room has little fridge, coffee & tea… I wish I could stay longer!
