Spur of the moment booking. Not a hotel I normally check in. Literally made it 5 minutes prior to checking! Night staff was super friendly! Lived up to everything listed in the amenities and more!! Pool was so warm! Very important because of sensor issues!! We all enjoyed a great morning swim!Breakfast was good! The woman who served us went above and beyond to ensure my picky little one had exactly what he needed for a full belly before we left!! Great value for the money! Parent and Kids approved!

I don’t want to say anything bad. All the pros outweigh anything I could nitpick about!

great location, comfortable beds. Breakfast was good. Rooms were nice and spacious. Liked that the location was closed to food and gas stations for extra essentials

Didnt like that the outside pool was green with no swimming. The indoor pool was not much better with a slimy film on the top of water. I especially didnt like that there was only one person working the breakfast bar. She wasnt able to keep everything filled so people had to wait. I dont know how she did it, but she made a great effort to attend to everyone. I just didnt like how much work was dumped on her, that is definitely a minimum of two people to serve/fill breakfast area.

The hotel was very clean and easy to access from the highway. It was also close to restaurants, a Walmart, and gas station. The bed and pillows were comfortable and it was quiet at nite.

Having our dog with us, they put us at the very back of the hotel so it was a bit of a walk to get to the front lobby. There wasn’t really much of a walking area to walk with our dog so had to walk on the road and parking lot. Also, need to get to breakfast early because while the hot breakfast was good, they ran out of things early and didn’t have much else in the way of fruit, cereal or pastries.

That's it offered an indoor and outdoor pool. The room was a nice size, and our room was right by an exit so we could come and go without bothering other guests. Staff was amazing

That the bar and cafe, pool, gym closed at 10pm even on a weekend. Area doesn't have any sort of entertainment around that area, so having those things open later, especially for adults, only to me, would be great. The hot tub was broken, the indoor pool was set up cute,but no one came to maintance it, so there were no towels. Some trash around and pool was starting to look dirty. Indoor pool also needs more seating and some anti slip straps on the room. But again, they need to keep towels stocked. Lobby is a ways from the pool and walked in thru a cold hotel wet isn't relaxing.

The staff was nice, i forgot her name but she's been there since our first visit and she's the best! We stay here every time we have football tournaments in Charleston and i love it because its clean and kid friendly. We love the pool and breakfast!

The staff wanted to shut the pool down 20-30 minutes early. We come for football so we usually dont get to swim until later on and my kids look forward to the pool more than anything else. Also, i was really disappointed when i came down to get breakfast and there was no more biscuits and gravy or sausage. I guess because it was getting close to time that she could quit serving she didnt make anymore. I get that it was busy with all the guests from the tournament and she was ready to close down, but there was still a good 20 or 30 minutes left.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Good water pressure, internet, TV. Great hot breakfast bar included in rate. Had to wait a little for biscuits. Lady gave us a free box of snacks (fruit cups and pastries) for our inconvenience. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

LONG hotel with only one elevator and it was on the end, not even in the middle. Only stayed Friday night in room 248. Saturday morning, the elevator was not working. Had to drag all our stuff downstairs.

Staff was very friendly. The hotel was not informed during our booking that we had a dog with us. They were quick to remedy that situation. I like the fact that they have designated pet rooms on the first floor. Easy access to the outside and pet area. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. We were next to an exit door and across from the ice machine. Was not bothered by any noise from the hallway. The location was great and had plenty of restaurants near by.

Pool area was nice, breakfast was good. Room was spacious.

Booked a double queen room, they tried to bump us to a king room with a rollaway bed at checkin and then tried to make me feel guilty for "bumping someone else" for not accepting that. Hallways and stairwells smelled of smoke. There were questionable blood stains on the room curtains and shower curtain. We had hairs on bed pillows, coffee pot in room looked dirty, did not use. Had to get pool towels from a busy front desk.

I was surprised that there was a restaurant on the premises. That was helpful to order food at the hotel and not have to leave for dinner. The breakfast was great. A NICE hot breakfast with someone serving you, and a nice seating area. Often hotel breakfasts are minimal, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

The only thing the hotel was missing was a hot tub. It has been filled in since the pictures were taken. That would have been enjoyable after a long day in the car.

The front desk check-in clerk was very friendly and extremely helpful. She was able to save me $15 over my pre-booked rate, by putting us in a room that didn't have a sofa (not needed), and I was very grateful for that. The TGIF directly across the street was very convenient for a late night dinner. The room was very quiet and the bed was one of the most comfortable that we've ever slept in. Not to mention the location - what a beautiful area! Overall, an excellent stay at a very nice hotel.

Nothing. It was a great experience from check-in to check-out. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to spend the night (or nights) at a hotel that really seems to care about its customers.
