The size of the suite was amazing--two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large common room, kitchen, all for an amazing price! We also loved the pool and enjoyed a summer evening out there. Breakfast was also very good (we didn't think it was amazing at the time but we went on to stay at 5 other hotels on the trip and in retrospect this was the best breakfast we had). We also appreciated the bedding for the sofa bed already being in the room (not always the case at other hotels).

Room seemed clean but there was a funky odor that was off-putting. Two of us scraped our foot badly on the filter at the bottom of the deep end of the pool. "Fitness center" was super lame, with just two treadmills and nothing else.

pet charge was excessive front desk clerk couldn't seem to find reservation ..... asked front desk clerk for suggestion of where to go to get something to eat, after looking at a a piece of paper for minutes said he wasn't sure and since he didn't live in charleston he didn't know anywhere to recommend........... surely we weren't the fist people to ask and the basic requirement from someone working the front desk would be a basic idea of the local area

The breakfast was good, but I liked the human served breakfast better in the past.

Clean the dog hair out of my room. I don't have dogs and I walked on the floor in my socks and had dog hair all over them

I was passing through the area and was looking for a place to stop at that was not right in the middle of a town or on a busy street so this was perfect. It was so quiet and lovely there in a beautiful natural woodsy setting. Check-in was a breeze. The receptionist was extremely helpful and nice. Breakfast was very good. I had booked a studio, but there was not one available so I got a 1-bedroom suite for the same price, which was very economical, I thought. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I booked the two bedroom queen suite with full kitchen. I loved the size of the room and that I had full sized fridge and full sized stove with fully stocked cabinets. My daughter had her own room and bathroom. The staff was very friendly and even helped me print some work documents

This is a problem at most hotels with breakfast... the meat choices were all pork so I couldn't enjoy it.

The location was great, the staff couldn’t be nicer, the breakfast was good, the price was right and, above all, it was clean, which is the most important thing to me!

The bed was uncomfortable and weirdly noisy. Whenever you moved, it made a noise. So the nights sleep was not as restful as it could have been.

The two bedroom suite was perfect for our family of four. My kids really enjoyed the pool and the basketball court. The location was just a few minutes drive from the Capitol area.

I think the staff could do a better job with cleaning. For example, we utilized the pullout couch and we found some garbage (old food wrappers/empty drink bottles) under the couch. Also, we stayed for 3 days and the stairwells were not being cleaned at all as the same chunks of dried mud on the stairs remained for the entirety of our stay. Neither of these issues would keep me from booking again, but it's a noticeable lack of attention to detail.

Easy to find, nice setting, friendly and efficient front desk staff and serving staff, clean and spacious room, nice room for extended stay, decent breakfast.

Road and entry drive to property is needing pothole repairs. Air conditioner vent blew directly at my head, not comfortable for sleep.

The room size was fantastic. Had the suite - Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, each with separate doors. A large living space and full kitchen. Hotel was located on a quiet hill - no road noise. Staff members were very kind and helpful. Well stocked market place. Heated outdoor pool. Small fitness room and guest laundry. Bonus - Pet Friendly!

Nice that it had a suite with 2 separate bedrooms and a common living and kitchen area!

Breakfast stopped at 830 and received no information about any local restaurants. The rooms could definitely use some updating!
