The suite was a good size. Loved the separate living room in the suite to entertain. Beautiful waterfront view. The location was great. We were in walking distance to restaurants and bars and not from the state Capitol. There was a free concert ending upon our check-in and my family who arrived earlier got a chance to enjoy that.

When I first arrived no microwave was in my room. Also the phones were not working. I told the front desk and first they told me they could get me one in the morning, but after I told her I would need a discount she managed to find one that day. They also sent someone to the room and he at least fixed one phone. The other phone did not work. Couch was squeaky made noise everytime you sit on it. Ordered some wings at the sports bar in the hotel which were not cooked well. Didn't realize until we got back to the room to eat. Next time will check the order before I leave the establishment.

Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel was nice and our room had a beautiful view of the river. Bed was clean and comfortable. Excellent location to walk around downtown Charleston.

Bathroom, carpet and painting in the room need some renovation. Because of the weather we were forced to eat dinner at the restaurant and they were out of many items. The room wasn’t that cheap and we had to pay extra for parking. Breakfast wasn’t included but at least they offer free coffee downstairs.

Location is great, walking distance to cover the interesting part of town. Shuttle service to Amtrak station on request. Staff friendly and helpful. Free street car leaves just from around the corner.

Charging "Incidentals" basically doubles the credit card load! It takes 4-6 business days to clear! Included breakfast would have been nice, as there is not many places available around the hotel. Internet is basic, not better than a street hotspot.

There should be signs to the Restaurant that’s attached. Had to ask directions several times. No signs showing you you’re heading in the right direction. The tiny tray that goes on the coffee pot that holds the coffee bag in place was missing. I really wanted to try the coffee. It was quite dusty around the window, which I had a beautiful view of the river front. There should be a sign on the air conditioner saying to use the wall controls. Would save a brief panic and a call to the desk.

Bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet and comfortable. Bar is very good and the employees at the reception desk and the bar/restaurant were helpful and pleasant.

You need to find a way to make the bath tub/shower less slippery. I fell getting into the shower on Thursday evening, hitting my head on the shower wall and my leg on the tub. I could have been injured by fortunately was not. I’m hard-headed, I guess. The tub needs a rubber mat or some other mechanism to prevent slipping. It was entirely too slippery.

Friendly efficient staff

My ph in room didn't work all 3 days even though I reported on day 1 & 2. Was told they'd send repair man but never did it. Surprisingly did not like pillow topper on bed ... too fluffy & harder to scoot around on Also didn't appreciate extra fees apparently booking.com put in on at end ..."flexible rates"???

The room was comfortable, the bed was exceptional, shower was good, the travel size shampoo that was provided as was nice and smelled of cucumber. The room had a river view, very nice! We arrived by train intending to lyft to the hotel.....oops, no lyft available! Luckily there is a hotel shuttle that came over and scooped us up, very convenient and kind!

There was a body wash and conditioner dispenser in the shower. No shampoo. And both of them smelled strongly of some masculine perfume....this and the very loud toilet are the only downside.

Had a nice view of the Regatta festivities, comfortable beds and pillows, front desk staff very helpful, especially a young lady named Brittany, who had the patience of a saint with me having to have my room keys reprogrammed several times after they stopped working.

The bathtub would not plug correctly to take an actual bath.

We were there during Regatta on 4th of July and had a room looking right over the levee. Great views of river and fireworks . Room was spacious , clean and comfortable.

Room service would have been a good option . It was late and restaurant was open , but I had a small child that was too tired to venture out .

Walked around downtown. Specifically came to town to see the LST.

$12 for parking garage. Really?? Already paid $150 for the room. Lady at the desk asked, "Will you be parking with us?" Where else would we park!?! We drove for almost 5 hours. If staying the night, parking should be included!
