Breakfast was delicious and fresh. I really liked the quiet. My friend and I were in town for a concert. Knowing that we were able to come back to a quiet, clean, spacious, comfortable room was an unexpected delight. The staff were friendly and pleasant. The facility is tucked into a mountain, yet close to a main road that you can get to downtown Charleston within 15-20 minutes. Outside noise was nonexistent, making this stay one of the best that I have ever experienced.

If only the pool were open later. I would have loved to come back after the concert, and get into the hot tub. The pool area should be open later, and outdoor umbrellas would be great in that sitting area. If it is hot outside, the chairs are not comfortable to sit in for being hot as well.

Sadly, we did not wake up early enough to enjoy breakfast at the hotel. We enjoyed swimming in the pool the night we checked in. It is a small pool,but nice. It was very crowded the night we were there people were very respectful.

The jets is the hot tub were not working. The door to the fire pit area locked behind us and our key did not work to come back inside the pool area. Nobody's key worked for reentering the pool causing everyone to rely on people to get out of the hot tub to open the door for people or they would be stuck outside. We were fortunate it was very crowded with helpful people!

I liked the very comfortable Beds and Bedding. More than enough towels. Good strong shower with adjustable head for massage. Quiet at sleep time.Good Breakfast with enough time to eat. Coffee , good coffee and creamer available all the time with Tea and cocoa.

I was disapointed that I really could not access the Jacuzzi area in the pool or the pool itself because it was constantly full of children jumping in and out running all around and staying in the jacuzzi for a length of time that is not even safe. Un checked. From early Morning till late at night until it closed there was not one time when it was okay to use it as it is intended. I do understand that children have rights and need to play too .But a Jacuzzi flopping in and out disturbing the ones who may need a soak is not necessary. This is actually the parents responsibility but they were not paying attention. I actually paid extra for this Hotel to be able to use this after a long drive and did not access it even once.

The facilities and breakfast were excellent - no complaints at all. I had a very clean and comfortable stay!

The only thing I wish had been better was customer service. When I first entered, I was ignored. And then in general, the staff was not very attentive. I mean, they certainly weren't rude, but it would have been nice if they had been more welcoming and pleasant.

I LOVED the shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower and the rooms were nice and clean and staff was very friendly

The breakfast was OK i was expecting bacon but there wasn’t any so a bit disappointed about that but the waffles were good. Did not like that CBS wasn’t available on our TV we had to miss a show that we watch at home.

The location was great and easy to get to. Adequate parking was available. I did not go to breakfast. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was exquisite and the room had all appliances. The view was terrific.

I reserved a superior king suite and I was disappointed when I got there that I was only given a king room. The room was still adequate but it was not what I booked.

Greeted promptly upon arrival. Easy check in process. Hotel was quiet and clean. Room was spotless, appropriate temperature, cozy, and inviting. Breakfast was a decent selection. Hot and cold items. Snack bar. Didn’t get to access the pool or hot tub due to lots of people using it already. Will definitely book again!

The only thing I didn’t like is the main lobby allows the people from the pool to come in wet which the whole floor in front of main elevators was very wet. I think people should dry off very well before entering back inside

beds are too high and there’s a metal box for a bed frame. can’t help but kick it as it stick out too far. very loud! also $75 pet fee is not listed on the website and that is steep for one night only. (website says pet fee may apply. so it may not apply? it needs to say $75 pet fee will apply)

The manager and staff were very kind and accommodating allowing us a late checkout. As we arrived late in the evening the night before, the later checkout time afforded us time to relax and enjoy the hotel and amenities a bit more. The hot breakfast was as expected of a Hampton Inn, and the wait staff was very nice and helpful. We loved the pool and hot tub, and appreciated all of the accessibility features as our youngest child is disabled and will require these accommodations as he grows. This is an annual road trip for us, so we will definitely be staying here again! Thank you again!

Disposable gloves at the breakfast bar would have been appreciated as there were many shared surfaces that needed to be touched. Given the new surge in Covid cases, it caused some concern for us.
