I don’t think the location was good unless you were going to a conference or an event in the attached building. The room was not liking the pictures, for instance there was no rug on the floor by the bed. It did not feel cozy and homey. The facility attempted to charge me for parking even though the information provided I’m booking.com lead me to believe parking was free. I had an exchange with the assistant manager and they waive the parking fees but they pointed out that visitors should also look at their website and not just booking.com. I do not think that is appropriate. I lost sleep every single night because of all the noise in the hotel, which sounded like children running down the hall and slamming doors until 1130 at night. It was very disturbing.

Generally everything was comfortable and nicely done. The king room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were all comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and the shower stall was great. Having a built-in luggage stand is a nice touch, as is having the fridge at a comfortable height.

The shower in the king room could use a more thorough cleaning and it was completely out of body wash. One issue was the inability to turn off “auto fan” and leave the AC on low, which meant it constantly turned on and off and kept waking us up. One thing I’d add to the room is either a footstool or small coffee table in front of the seating area. There’s plenty of room and without something it makes that space less useful. Also the delay on the TVs in both rooms is annoying, as is having many channel listed but then unavailable to watch (movie channels).

The long walk from the garage to the front desk and elevators to the rooms. Front desk stated they had valet parking before COVID but they never brought it back. Someone like me that was traveling alone would park out front, go check in, go around back of hotel into the garage then entering the hotel from the garage you had to walk past the meeting rooms, almost a five minute walk.

Loved being on the river and being able to walk to a restaurant up the river. Liked the river view, even though there was Canadian wildfire smoke in the valley that day. We were driving north so this was a great layover spot.

Parking was totally inconvenient, way down the hall, through the other building to the parking ramp.

I would recommend having water in the room if not complimentary like most hotels offer than at a charge . this is the second time we have stayed and it is inconvenient to get to the room and have to go back down for a bottle of water . I would think for the price of the room a bottle of water would be a great for your guests .

It was amazing and very comfortable. The employees were really nice and helpful.

They need microwaves in the room other than that it was awesome

The staff and the restaurant are great and having a Starbucks on site is wonderful.

The location is decent but it can feel isolated, as it is not located in easy walking distance to key areas of campus. also, there were some cleanliness issues in the bathroom, including a really disgusting fan vent with no actual fan connected to it and missing baseboard pieces. I expected better in the finished for a Marriott and the price.

I thought I was very nice. Room was very nice. Hot water was the best of it all.I’ve never been to hotel that water was actually hot water. It was great!!

I love everything about property. Only complaint would be the room smelled like a big fart when you walked in!!

The location is great when you have kids at WVU. The hotel is beautiful, clean, they have a bar and restaurant and Starbucks there. The rooms are great, big, and a very comfortable bed.

You have to pay for parking there, and the walk back into the hotel and main lobby is quit far from where you have to park your car.

Your a little pricey on the drinks from the bar and the snacks from the shop. We were in town for a WVU football game with a 5pm start time. We came straight to the hotel after the game and hoped to get a light meal from the kitchen. We arrived in the dining area at 10:05 to find the kitchen closed at 10:00. We heard 3 or more other couples try to get food. You may want to rethink your kitchen closing time on later game days. However, Dominoes thanks you there were a lot of pizzas d being delivered!
