Spinning Wheel Motel

The location is convenient, being right in between Devil's Lake and the Wisconsin Dells. The rooms are very affordable and the motel itself is easily accessible. The rooms are clean and in great condition. The motel is staffed by a very nice couple that are easy to work with and are very friendly.

The additional blankets provided aren't cleaned regularly, so we didn't use them. Other than that, the rest of the room was clean and well taken care of.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The TV had many channels! My room was set far back from the street so it was a quiet night’s sleep. Not fancy but had all the things I needed for an inexpensive single night stay as I was just passing through. Great restaurant next door and 2 convenience stores nearby.

No negatives. Typical vibe and decor of an older property but well kept up facilities.

I stayed here one night last spring, and so I knew what to expect: clean, quiet, comfortable (the beds are great!), convenient. Last time I stayed only one night, so I was very pleased to discover the room had been cleaned and towels replaced during the day. These days, that's become rare!

Really, my only "complaint" is no coffee in the room. But I can live with that.

Great location with a handy store/filling station right next door and a choice of family run restaurants only a couple of minutes walk away. Downtoen Barbaroo also within easy walking distance with bars, shops and entertainment readily onhand, plus a free zoo. The State Park is also very accessible nearby. The owners were very helpful, even helping trying to fix my broken down rental car!

Kettle, coffee and cutlery would be nice - what use is the Microwave if you can't eat what you cooked?

The large room was charming and cozy, an old-fashioned place. The manager was very nice. The bed was oh so comfortable, and it was quiet, making for a good night's sleep. I love old-fashioned mom-and-pop motels. It was very clean. Refrigerator and micro in the room.

I would have liked coffee in the room, but there was some in the office in the morning. Other than that, I was very happy with the place!

The room was quiet and it was near the Dells and near the parks and it was affordable. I liked that the property was all on one level. It came with a fridge which was nice and the air conditioner worked well even though it was in the upper 90's during our stay.

I didn't like the area. The room was a bit on the rough side. It seemed to be a motel that had long-term tenants.

We were very happy with the room we had. We were comfortable there. The owner was friendly and we will be back. We love that we didn't have a ton of stairs to climb to get to our room. Its all one level!

There were a couple of towels that really should have been thrown out and the tub really needed updating but everything else was fine. We wished there would have been a coffee pot and a guide to the TV channels but all in all we had a very nice time there.

The Spinning Wheel was our central point as we explored the Baraboo area. The room was exactly as pictured on the site - which is what I wanted. A sleeping area and a sitting area with a refrigerator and microwave. Coffee/tea service was available in the lobby. The room was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Just what we needed to explore the area.

The owners greeted a return customer with genuine repor. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room was clean and very affordable. . Facility is 2 blocks from my in laws so great for visiting.

The electrical switch inside the door did not work. Had to come inside in dark to switch on a lamp.

Clean, centrally located, and perfect for our one-night stay to attend the Murder Mystery Weekend. Microwave and fridge in room were nice additions. Shower was hot and great pressure. Will stay here for future events.
