Amber's Inn and Suites

Close to city center, staff was excellent, beds were very comfortable. Could sit by a fire at night. Pool and hot tub area very clean. Our stay included daily entrance into Noah's Ark water park which wasn't even expected. They also had discount tickets for some other places available at the office. The staff was eager to help when we first got there and moved us to another room since there was an issue with our air conditioner. Also moved us to a 1st floor room when they over heard me say something about my husband's bad knee and has issues with stairs. Was a real family owned feel. Would highly recommend this location.

Can't really say there was anything to dislike except that they don't offer breakfast. But we knew that before booking our vacation. The carpets in our room really could use a good professional carpet cleaning. Other than that this hotel was excellent.

During our Labor Day weekend stay, we didn't know what to expect, but it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The room included free tickets to Noah's Ark, just a quick 10-minute drive away. The rooms were not only spacious but also impeccably clean with a pleasant fragrance. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The pool and jacuzzi were well-maintained and just the right size. We're definitely planning on returning in the future. The evening bonfire and the extended pool hours until 10 pm added to the overall relaxation of our stay.

The rooms were nice, very clean and much larger than expected. It's an older motel but you can tell it has been kept up and cared for. We were in town for a volleyball tournament that was only a couple minutes up the road. We were just looking for an average room for a decent price. We got 2 rooms for less than the price of one at the big resorts. Just a short walk to the strip, it looks like it would be fun place to stay when it's above freezing. The staff was excellent, and very friendly. We tripped a breaker after office hours and the onsite manager was quick to come down and flip it back for us. We would definitely stay here again.

I don't really have any complaints. I guess the TV's were kinda small.

We were allowed to check in early which was wonderful after a long day of traveling. Our room was a great size for our group. We had a full kitchen and our own deck which was great! Plenty of pillows and towels. The location was within walking distance to downtown, even with our six year old.

The only negative was that we stayed for four nights and didn't receive any housekeeping, so we had to ask the front desk for toilet paper and the trash to be emptied.

Rooms are massive and wide open. Room was very clean and passed the wife's inspections. Water was super hot never ran out of hot water with the 3 of us showering one after another. When checking in the girl at the front desk what super inviting and kind. Honestly we didn't have enough time to check Dells out since we came for softball tournament. BUT, we will be back and we WILL stay here again. Best place for the money we have stayed at yet!

The rooms are suites; they are huge and are a much bigger size than most hotels. There was a clean fridge, clean microwave, table and chairs, a nice chest of drawers, a drink station table with a coffee machine and coffee and cups, soap, hairdryer, clothing rack with shelf and hangers, clean bathroom, clean linens, ice bucket, a bench outside the room, free parking, community swimming pool, community indoor hot tub, community gazebo with picnic tables, nice view outside of bathroom window, outside door lead straight to parking, attractive metal balcony and deck spaces, community laundry facilities, beautiful outside lighting, close to downtown Wisconsin Dells without sacrificing quality, helpful and kind staff, wonderful place to stay.

The beds are pretty comfortable and soft, but can be uncomfortable after some hours, one side of the bed seemed broken. Some of the light fixtures were loose. The bathroom and room had wear and tear but was still nice. Carpet was a little dirty, linens clean but worn, pipes in walls made some noise, rooms are a little pricey.

I love the location, it’s close enough to walk downtown but far enough to not have to HEAR downtown. Very clean and friendly with pool and coin laundry. And the rooms are huge! Price is great it’s not to spendy and not to cheap to make you wonder why it’s so cheap.

The room we were in could use new carpet, it was starting to unravel in a couple of spots and the bathroom sink had some chipped paint around the faucet.

Very nice facility. The whole complex was upkept very nice and offers a lot to the guests who are staying there. The pool looked very nice, the grounds were neat and there was a bonfire both nights I stayed. There were also grills that you could use ( the kind like you'd see at a campsite). The room I had, was larger than expected and was clean. TV was small in my opinion & remote didn't work the best at times, but still worked & was able to watch shows. Area was quiet, which was nice. Downtown is a short drive or a longer walk, depending on preference. A new gas station half a block away, was very handy. I would definitely stay here again. Keep up the nice facility!

I was very pleased with my room and the location was GREAT! The staff was great, also.

I was disappointed that my room was not recorded correctly (I had booked a room with a pet and had even spoken with a staff member in the middle of May at which time it was confirmed.) I had to wait until the room was ready and for the paperwork to be changed. I was also not told that there was a pet charge during the conversation with the staff member in the middle of May (I wanted to have my trip completely paid for in advance.)

The location was good; it was a halfway point to our final destination. It was one of the cleanest hotel/motel rooms we've stayed in. The beds were the most comfortable we've ever slept in.

The TV was smaller than most hotels these days and there were very few channels available. There was a very small glass table and 2 heavy wooden chairs. There was ample space available for a desk and also a comfortable chair that would have been an improvement. Breakfast was not available.
