The hotel is close to the lake and some places to eat. The staffs are nice, helpful and polite. Probably the suite is too small to suit to its name but all in all it was a good and comfortable night to stay in.

Family Suite is small

It is an incredibly royal accommodation for a considerably reasonable price. This was one of the cheapest accommodations across SE Asia that I stayed in and was a really comfortable stay. The staff were amazing especially the manager. Very accommodating. Would stay here again.

The staff were very helpful. We arrived early in the morning after a long time travelling, and managed to get a nap in the spa until our room was ready. The room was large with a balcony and street view . The bed was very comfy and much needed after all the walking and chaos of the city.

The location of the Alisa hotel and spa was perfect. It was a few minutes walk to the lake, eateries, shops, and the water puppet theatre we visited. There are little shops opposite or just down the road from the hotel (4 storey mini supermarket) to get drinks, snacks and a few supplies. The hotel is on a small street which is busy during the day but does get much quieter at night. The staff were brilliant. They were so welcoming each time we came and went and so helpful arranging taxis, laundry and general advice on the area. Our stay was spilt in two. Room 602 was modern, comfy beds, good shower, just like the photos reflect on the website. Would stay here again.

Our first room 302 was very different to 602. Not as modern. We had a bath and shower attachment over it rather than a shower cubicle as in 602. The shower above the bath was so low even for me (5ft) and very low pressure. The window could not fully close as the handle had broken so woken at night by the odd passing vehicle. The ac worked but the temperature couldn’t be adjusted so a little chilly at night or too hot if switched off. If we had stayed in room 602 the whole of the time, it would have been a perfect stay.

The room was comfortable and spacious! AC was working well which is a plus in a tropical country like Vietnam. Day and night staff were also very accommodating. Check in and check out were smooth. It's also walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake. They even granted our request for airport transfer so we can get to the airport to catch our very early flight. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends. 😊

Location was ok. I like that it's in a quieter street but if you want to see the bustling streets of Old Quarter, this might not be the place for you.

We truly enjoyed our stay there. The location is perfect, it's really easy to enjoy Hanoi old quarter area, pretty much walking distance from anywhere around the area. Plenty of great coffee places and foods around too! Everyone from the hotel was really friendly, warm, and helpful. The room itself is also great, comfortable for a family of four. One thing that we truly appreciate is how they went above and beyond to give a surprise birthday cake to my dad (it was his birthday during our stay there), we really did not expect it and it truly made our stay there and my Dad's birthday much more memorable :)

The room is comfy and clean. There's a lift in this old quarters building which is exceptionally good.

The room facing the main street was very noisy.

I really want to appreciate two receptionists, Mr Liam and Mr Hai, for their exceptional service attitude that comes from the heart! Both of them showed me genuine care and really made my stay in this hotel a pleasant experience. I want to thank Mr Hai for his kindness, and would like to affirm him for his passion in sharing his vast knowledge of Vietnam's history. I would like to thank and affirm Mr Liam for his kindness as well, for checking in on my wellbeing when I arrived late at night in the hotel, and also showing care for me even after my checkout. I will return to stay at this hotel if I visit Hanoi again next time. :)

Hotel was really good. It was located in a vibrant place and we were able to connect with other places placed in old quarter which we believes is the capital place of hanoi. Staffs were really good and helpful and caring at the same time too. If we come to hanoi again, definitely we will pick this place for stay.

Balcony can be a little bigger as we find it very difficult to stay at the balcony and enjoy the view. Also, for one of the rooms, air conditioning was a little bit slow in cooling. Other than all these, all other facilities and stay were perfect.

Staff was amazing and very attentive! We used the laundry service almost every time we returned to Hanoi and it always came back very quickly, clean and smelling amazing. We could also always store our luggage and bags with them whenever we took a trip to our destinations in between stays!

Wifi was slow at times and it could have been a little bit cleaner overall. We stayed in different rooms throughout our stay, and it seems that the rooms on the upper floors are more modern and better equipped than the ones on the lower floors.
