Cleaning of the room and bathroom a bit to be desired. Breakfast should be included in the cost even if the price per day is increased. Stop people from smoking within the hotel boundry. As you open your door you are suffocated with the smell of smoke.

We absolutely loved our stay here in Hoi an. What made it very special was the lovely staff, the receptionists and the lovely man who was at the front desk all night. They let us use a bicycle to get around everyday which was really useful as it only took around 5-10 minutes to get to the older quarter. The hotel is really clean and the bed is comfy. It’s extremely good value for money - we paid more at other hotels across Vietnam and they were no where near as nice.

The shower pressure wasn’t great but that was the only thing - everything was perfect!

The pool, the staff were very helpful. The use of bikes at anytime. The location was only a short nice bike ride away from the ancient town.

The property was very nice at first glance. The pool area was very clean but not much room or sun loungers they were also not cleaned regularly and most had bird poo on them. More towels would have been good so we had one for the pool and one for the shower.

A great hotel, friendly staff, our family stayed in 2 beautiful family rooms and the swimming pool was very large and clean. If we have the opportunity to return to Hoi An, we will come back to this place.

Nice room with a very comfy bed. We could use the bicycles for free, which was very nice for going to the historical centre or to the beach.

I think we were upgraded so the room we stayed in was amazing. Very spacious with big, comfortable bed and tv with Netflix. The most comfortable bed we have stayed in our whole trip. The pool area was very nice with enough sun loungers for people to sit on and the pool was clean. The location was about a 15 minute walk from the old town centre or a 5/6 minute motorbike ride which you can rent from the hotel (or get a bicycle for free).

Had a few issues where we had a 3 hour long power cut and our Tv fell off the wall one night. The staff fixed the next day but we did come back to our door left wide open with all our belongings in it so anyone could have easily stolen our stuff. When we told the staff they just didn’t seem too bothered. Think this was just unfortunate because everything else was great and would 100% recommend this hotel.

Upon arrival hotel staff are extremely friendly and sort answer any questions with ease. The room itself is a great size and has everything you need, the shower and bathroom well kept and very clean. The hotel itself in a very good location about 10/15 minute walk from most activities or a cheap grab taxi away. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the price! Great value for money.

The shower door has a gap underneath so floods the bathroom if you’re not careful.

Appreciate the efforts of the staff for providing a good breakfast. Everyone was nice and friendly and goes above and beyond to help you. The room was comfortable, such a great value for money. Easy to find a taxi or transport to go around town. They have a nice swimming pool too. We had a lovely experience.

Breakfast options should include European breakfast options such as Hot tea with milk, cereals with fresh milk etc. Overall they provide a good Vietnamese breakfast. No lift (elevators for your heavy luggage and Person with Disabilities and Wheelchair ) however, the staff will be happy to help you bring your luggage to your room. so not really an issue.

The location of Hawal Villa is very convenient. It is close to the Old Town and also close to the road to the beach. The staff are helpful, even waking up at 5am every morning just to open the garage door for me to access the free bicycles.

For the price I pay, the room and service I get is above and beyond expectation
