We absolutely loved MaiChi Villa it’s so well situated to the river and all the shops the rooms are so clean and comfortable and the staff are just amazing especially Minty on reception she was so helpful with booking tickets to shows etc I would 100 percent recommend staying here really relaxing comfortable stay with great air conditioning

One thing I think is worth mentioning the area seems pretty safe but I was with my boyfriend so was okay but if you are solo traveller walking back at night it is in the kind of back streets and you have to walk down lane ways just something to keep in mind when booking

The hotel is in a cute alley, walking distance to all of the pretty sights in Hoi An. The room was big, comfy bed, and while we didn’t use the pool, it was a pretty little outdoor space. What made our trip here so nice was the care and helpfulness of the two sisters working there. They gave us recommendations for dining, tailoring, tours, and more. They helped us rent bikes, get a driver for a ride we wanted to do - even after we had moved out of MaiChi because we wanted to stay longer in Hoi An. We really appreciated all their friendly support!

The best hotel we stayed in Vietnam. A few steps from the historic center of Hoi An, it is quiet, clean and well maintained. It has all the amenities one needs, the rooms are spacious and with lots of natural light, lots of windows but you have your privacy at the same time. The water pressure in the bathroom is perfect, the staff is very friendly and efficient, they helped us book tours and transportation to Da Nang. The pool looked pretty clean and maintained, but we didn't get a chance to use it as we weren't in Hoi An for long. We liked everything overall and will definitely come back when we are back in Hoi An.

This is fantastic little place it’s in the perfect location within walking distance of everything and very quiet and peaceful. We had a very large room that opened out to the pool ( which was cool and refreshing) our beds were comfy and we had everything we needed.The free bicycles were a bonus and we went on several rides around the rural areas with rice paddies and farms and the friendliest people..I will definitely stay here again when back in Hoi An.

Perfect location, super close to the old town. Friendly staff. A basic breakfast was sufficient - juice, fruit & eggs. They did offer us a lower rate without breakfast but we were happy with the selection offered. Lovely spacious room with a balcony.

Difficult to get help late in the day - we had forgotten to pre-order breakfast one day but there was nobody around after 9pm who could understand English. This was a minor issue though as we just sorted breakfast the following morning.

A so quiet place very close by the animated old town. We were so nicely and kindly welcomed, with a lot of help to enjoy the town and the area. The villa is organized around a patio and his pool, very pleasant, with view from rooms' balconies. The privacy of each room is complete with the lush vegetation all along balconies. Very confortable beds and perfectly cleaned large rooms. Free bikes on disposal allow you to reach the see and discover the area. A lot of offers for breakfast around the villa. We spent a perfect 3 nights stay. Thanks again

We just fell in love with this place. It was especially because of the stuff. Two sisters that work at reception were just the nicest persons we met in all Vietnam. Every time we got back to the villa, they greet us as if we came home. This place has definitely home like feeling. They informed us about area, recommended amazing places and always helped when we needed. Room was amazing, perfect clean with one of the most comfortable bed. Pool and area around the pool was our favorite part of hotel with open kitchen, you just feel like home.

There was nothing we dislike. Definitely, one of the best places we have ever stayed. I work in tourism for years and I stayed in luxurious 5* resorts and I would recommend this place 100%. It small and simple, but it is just perfect.

Host was very accomodating. Answered any questions very quickly through booking.com and WhatsApp. So informative of the area and provided great recommendations from Tailors to places to eat. She also organised transport from the hotel and to our next accomodation in Da Nang which was super helpful. Room was very nice and spacious! Location is good, very close to ancient town, just walking distance or a short grab bike ride around if you’re not bothered walking :)

Maichi is in a league of its own, mainly due to the fantastic and genuine hospitality of the hosts who provided excellent local recommendations for food and sights. The facilities offered everything needed in a short walking distance to the old town. Clean, beautiful and relaxing. Excellent value for money and by far the best stay we’ve had during our trip in Vietnam.

Air conditioning struggled during the summer heat however a fan was provided also for air flow.

The location of the hotel is great. Few minutes walk from the historic centre but no noise from the crowd and music, perfect! The hotel is very comfortable and clean and we liked the swimming pool much! The service is excellent. Anything you ask they do their utmost to help you in the best way possible. Beach towels are available and worth booking the Memories show with the hotel. Definitely also a must do when you visit this hotel is to have a breakfast or lunch at Demo caffee, just around the corner. Excellent food and drinks! Overall, we felt very welcome at the hotel, treated in every way as real guests and an added highlight of our holiday! Would book it again next time.
