Room was clean & comfortable.Nice bathroom & big shower.Location was great & close to everything we needed.Breakfast was really good with lots of choices.

The only issue i had was the carpark,it was very steep & tight.We only had a small car & still had trouble finding a park.

Very easy check in, staff lovely and friendly. Hotel very clean and lovely decor at reception. Room was very clean and exactly as advertised. Good room service. Very quiet. Good air-conditioner. Loved it and would recommend and stay there again.

Bathroom door needs some maintenance. Beautiful entrance to the hotel, unfortunately marred by the nearby congregation of men and women in the street, drinking, yelling, generally disorderly, sitting and laying on the footpath. Not the hotels fault but was not pleasant when leaving to explore the area.

We appreciated having been given a room on the 19th floor. The bed was super comfortable and the drapes were enough to keep out the glare of city lights. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We liked that we were in walking distance of restaurants and also the tram, which stopped right outside. The public areas were very clean and welcoming. I liked that our room was made up every day. Husband liked the fact that tea, coffee and milk were replenished on a daily basis. I just loved that grand staircase!

Our fridge wasn't working and even though we advised reception staff of this fact, nothing happened which was disappointing as my husband wanted to chill a bottle of my favourite bubbles for my birthday. Whilst I am aware that loud TV's can be annoying to guests in neighbouring rooms, it was annoying to us that the volume was set far too low, and no amount of pressing the button would increase it so we gave up trying to watch anything because we had to strain our ears to hear what was being said. There was also a problem with the key card scanners in one of the lifts which we found to be very annoying. Apparently staff were aware of the problem. I did make a request for a room with a view but it couldn't be accommodated at that time, it was no big issue, it just would have been nice.

Great location.

On a major sporting weekend, your upstairs and downstairs bar areas were closed. Very disappointing.

Location was amazing and the room was really cute!

One of the bedside lights randomly stopped working and the bathroom light flickered before turning on. Also the mural next to the pool was horrific. I don’t understand how such a nice hotel has such an ugly looking mural. It looks like it was made by a perverted 7 year old. Sorry if that is insulting but that is just what it looks like. If you want a beautify mural I recommend the mural artist Azzurro. He is from Adelaide and he has done murals for hotels in the past (the intercontinental) and other public venues such as high schools and cafes around Adelaide.

The hotel were a little unorganised on my arrival and tried to put me on a floor that was not with the rest of my party. They fixed it and got us all together. Views from most rooms were spectacular, rooms are brilliant The location was perfect for my needs, I had 8 rooms booked + another 2 who booked their own, to attend a birthday party at Seans Kitchen Breakfast was good Cleaning staff removed personal items from one room when cleaning the room before one of my guests had even checked out, we had to chase down the staff and find the items but some, including a birthday present to me, were out on the floor in the corridor. They could have been taken by anyone

Staff at bar on Friday evening and checking us in for breakfast on Sunday morning were borderline rude; uninterested and narky. The lady checking us off for breakfast actually rolled her eyes when my 79yo mother told her 'room 14' instead of 1914 and then fixed it in seconds

We stayed at the Stamford as it's an ideal location to get to the Entertainment Centre. Tram stop basically outside the door. Check in was quick. Staff very professional and helpful. The bed was comfy, the room was great and a delicious breakfast in the morning.... Perfect!!

everything was great, no complaints..... ok.... room overlooked the roof of a building behind the hotel, but you know what.... someone's got to sleep there :-) we didn't actually mind as we only used the room to sleep.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Good wifi, the air con worked well, and generally good facilities. Good view over the Festival Centre and the historic buildings opposite. The location is excellent on the corner of North Terrace and King William Street. Off-street parking was available, which was a relief as we had driven to Adelaide. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Excellent buffet breakfast too!

This is an excellent place to stay if you are attending a conference at he Adelaide Convention Centre. It is a stones throw away. A terrific location to food and bars just around the corner. Literally across the road from the train station as well. The rooms were not a bad size and the bed was comfortable.

My only gripe is so small. It took such a long time to check in and check out. Possibly because it was so busy, or maybe because they hotel needed to move to a less paperless system like other sites.

I mentioned it was my birthday weekend and the staff were eager to offer me a complimentary drink at the bar, plus a discount on the buffet breakfast if I prebooked it there and then. Check in staff were polite and friendly as was checkout staff. I liked the size of the room and really liked the added armchair and footstool so I did not need to sit on the bed the whole time

The bed was feeling a bit lumpy with the springs and really a pillowtop added would have probably given me a better sleep. For me, I generally find hotel beds too firm for my liking - this was not the worst I have slept in, but it was not super comfortable. The hot water in the shower was really temperamental - it would stay warm-hot for only a minute and then go cold again and in the middle of winter that is not really pleasant!
