Location, Location, Location!! You cant Have a better location, next to Charles Bridge, walking distance from everywhere. Nice big clean room, nice bathroom.

Housekepping non existant, no clean towels etc. Breakfeast for 4* hotel poor, no juice or any other cold bevarage except water. Staff not Very friendly. Dont understand their concept of unmaned hotel reception and the whole hotel really from 7pm till the morning. TV Just news Chanels. No water available in minibar on arrival or any information About the hotel in the room.

Great location, Simple yet nice breakfast, nice heating system (was really cold outside), convinient luggage room,nice smell in the building and cleanliness.

Staff could be a bit more friendly but they were never rude. When you walk in your room It makes some wood crackling noises, so you can also hear other people's noises. The hotel wasn't crowded so I was lucky I guess because it wasn't so bad. However, I use sound blockers at night. They keep the duvet folded in a way that we have to arrange it in order to cover ourselves. Why not tidy all the bed so I can enter it and get to sleep right away?

Before coming to the hotel I've read some comments regarding bad customer service, not regularly cleaned rooms, poor breakfast etc. So my experience was different - customer service was good, staff was polite, once I reported about not working hairdryer, - service reacted immediately. Rooms were clean, everything was there. Location is perfect - and actually you pay high price only for that. Breakfast selection was poor in reality, but it was OK - during my often travelling experience I saw much worse. And now they have 2 coffee machines, so there are no queues anymore (that was written in previous comments of other visitors).

Hotel for sure is not 4 star - based on facilities, amenities and service offering - max 3 stars. Wifi is poor - at least in our room was not working properly. As hotel is located in city center, be ready that taxi not willing to bring you close to the hotel door as there is pedestrian area around. At least our taxi dropped us in 150 meters distance before and we had to reach final destination with luggage ourselves. As I said previously, breakfast food options are limited, but there is a number of restaurants around you can go to. There is no possibility to buy any drinks in the hotel and around.

A lovely hotel under the charles bridge.The hotel environment is very quiet and comfortable, and hotel staff are kind and friendly. The location of the hotel is just under the Charles Bridge, not far from Prague city center and Prague castle. There are many restaurants and small supermarkets around the hotel, which is very convenient.

The hotel room is a bit small, especially the table is small. The hotel's breakfast is not rich and delicious enough, not enough hot dishes, not enough fresh fruits and no freshly squeezed juice.

Location in a little quite square but close to Charles bridge so everything within walking distance including trams once we worked out where they went!! We had a room with a stone bridge ceiling ( 32) which was very comfortable, clean and quiet! The reception staff went out of their way to source places we wanted to see and offered special offers on taxis if we needed them.

Prague is a bit of a mystery at first..all the signs are in Chech, the museum entrances are at times well hidden and we didn't find out till the third day that most transport is free if you are over 65!! I would advice avoiding Saturdays as the old town is full of stag parties!!

We had an excellent 3 night stay at the Archibald in Oct. The hotel is located just 1 min away from the iconic Charles Bridge. The front desk staff was pleasant, helpful and could converse in English. The room was quite spacious with lots of storage space. The bed was big enough for two with separate duvets. Just note that the mattress & pillows are very soft (as is the case in most hotels in Europe) so initially it felt a little uncomfortable since we are used to a firm mattress. The linen and bath towels were of excellent quality. The bathroom had modern fittings & toiletry items were plentiful. The room had a kettle for hot water plus tea & coffee packs. The shower was one of the best that we came across during our trip to the Czech Republic. The room was cleaned daily by the Housekeeping staff. However, the best part of our stay was the breakfast as well as the breakfast area on the ground floor designed as a cave. Lots of hot & cold options and slight variations each day, so the breakfast never felt repetitive. The Prague Old Town Square is a 10-12 min walk from the hotel and the Lesser Town just about 3-5 mins in the other direction. Good dining options and a covenience store nearby. If we return to Prague some day, we will definitely stay at the Archibald Hotel again.

Everything was fine - location just besides the famous Charles Bridge (perfect); room was large with everything I could have wanted; bathroom large and very comfortable. The room was between the river and an inner garden, so it was perfectly quiet too!

Very minor quibbles: the siphons in the bathtub were quite slow to empty it from the water. The breakfast was decent, but no more; I have seen much richer buffets (e.g. I would have liked more variety of cheese, local ham, also some home made jam - on the other hand the scrabbled eggs were very nice)

The location is perfect, if you want some place quiet, where you don´t have to listen to trams and noise on the street, but you also want to be close to city centre. Surroundings of the hotel are quiet picturesque, Kampa park and Lesser Town at its best. Room is very nice and cozy, you have at your disposal small common garden with few tables and chairs, which can come handy. Breakfast is very good, optimal selection and good quality. I definitely recommend to stay here.

Some members of the staff could be a bit more obliging, but that was just small thing.

Location is ideal - right by the Charles Bridge so close to the Old Town but in a quieter area. The hotel is immaculately clean throughout and provides complimentary toiletries etc. The breakfast is great - a good selection of hot and cold food. There is also a complimentary lunch provided - soup and rolls plus ham & cheese sandwiches and small pastries - a real bonus!

For us the bed was too firm but fine for a couple of nights.

Great location near Karles' bridge. Places to eat and to see are very close and on both sides of the bridge. Good value overall for the money. I would recommend this spot to my friends.

It was a bit hard to understand where the entry into hotel is. Maybe it was just my error, but entrance could be marked somehow better. I tried to call few phone numbers I saw on the door and in the booking, but one didnt respond, another had an engry woman on the other end that didnt speak English. :)
