Hotel Newstar Montreal

stayed here couple times and is always a great location ( right off of 40 ) and very clean and comfortable. The staff and amenities are always on point for a place of this size and location. A great place if you are a service technician or roadie for a company needing a few days to extended stays ( I was on vacation but I used to do work away from home and longed to have places like this )

the parking lot spaces are not the best in the way of half ton pickups or bigger. if you find a good spot make sure you back into position so you can drive out. Still a great place to stay.

The place was clean and your staff was very helpful. Your staff explained about the deposit. I sent a couple of emails before arriving to the hotel and I got a prompt reply. Also you have a lot of parking, so, that’s good.

I was a little concern about the parking as it was a little bit dark at night and there were some people drinking/yelling (we arrived there on a Saturday night) and it felt kind of unsafe. But once we went to out room, we forgot about it.

The hotel is easy to locate, the room is well furnished and comfortable. The available restaurant was really helpful. Staff assisted me for little things I asked for.

Opening time for the restaurants on weekends could be earlier. Housekeeping was loud in the morning.

The value for the price paid and the accommodations received was Excellent! Very comfortable King bed!! Although we did not eat at the restaurant, it seemed very clean and conveniently located. Front desk staff were polite, friendly and wonderful. They provided a room switch when we brought up an issue with our room, in a timely and hassle-free manner. Great place to stay if you’re visiting Montreal on a budget.

The area surrounding the hotel property (ex. curbside view from our room) could have been cleaner. The shower-head needed descaling and therefore did not provide the best water pressure. I would also suggest staff to close the doors to any storage facilities inside/outside the building when not being used, as this is unsightly.

The room was quite nice and clean. Big and comfy beds and equipped with a mini fridge.

The hotel is on the peripheries of the metro line, so it was a bit difficult to access. There is also not a lot in the area. Wouldn't recommend for folks commuting by transit, however easily accessible by car. The ice room was also uncleanly

I like the environment, the receptionist are good, and the WiFi is excellent

The hotel did not provide enough toiletries .

Price was commensurate with what I got. Located close to the exit to the main road heading to important areas o the city. Installations worked as expected.

Floor cleanliness could be improved. A bit far away from downtown. Didn’t look as a family oriented frequency.

The hotel was very close to where we needed to be the next morning and was also very close to the highway, making it very convenient. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy.

There was no tea or coffee provided, although there was a pay machine in the lobby.

The room exceeded my expectations for that price. The staff was super friendly.

The room could've have used a bit of detailed cleaning. (Little bit of dusting)

Well located, the room was clean.

The door of the room needs to be adjusted, it shakes every time any other room on that floor was open and it made me feel unsafe.
