Holiday Inn Express Baruna, an IHG Hotel

the cleanliness of the facility and the comfortness of the bed and pillows. Most hotels have smelly pillows, surprisingly, Holiday Inn Express smells so clean. Had a good and comfortable sleep. I like how staffs checks how their service is , or if we need anything further. This should be rated 5 star with the services shown by staffs.

Something wrong with the Airport Transfers. We were picked up an hour late, and the drop off , we took the 7pm, driver arrived 20mins after. When we were told to be in the lobby 10mins earlier, before our booked time. This is the only disappointment, but I think the transfer is contracted from outside.

The staffs were super friendly.. Location is at the outskirt of Kuta, very near to the beach, which means that you get to enjoy Kuta beach, but doesn't have to be stuck in the traffic jam in and out of Kuta. Oh and one more, the rooftop pool is a gem..

The room can use more noise insulation.. We can hear our next door neighbour speaking Chinese and because we're quite close to the lift, every time someone get out from the lift to their room, we can hear their chit chat along the corridor. But when you're fast asleep in the comfy bed, these problems no longer matters.

Very nice Hotel, just a hop to the Airport. Free Airport pickup is definitely a bonus, as inspite of being so close taxis charge a minimum fare... so its a big advantage to get the free pick up. Clean rooms,lovely lobby,awesome infinity pool on terrace with beach and sunset views. Breakfast is nice, they do take requests for special indian meals in advance if required, which is really nice. The adjoining property is a beach touching Resort belonging to the same hotel group, its very beautiful with direct access to the beach..they allow use of the pools and Restaurants at this resort.

We had some hot water problems on the first day, it was just warm.. but on informing them the staff immediately took action and solved the problem..

Great position in Kuta, close to the Airport and within walking distance of two Shopping Malls. Lovely Hotel and we enjoyed every minute

There was no information on Bali (Tour desk or brochures etc.) at the Hotel for first timers like ourselves to Bali

Great location close to airport. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great for an overnight stay before flights. The property is linked to the Holiday Inn resort on the beachfront which meant we could make use of the resort facilities

The location to the airport was very handy. Breakfast service was also very good

The facilities are.not great. Outside of breakfast there was no options to eat at the hotel. Cabin crew (of which there were many) were able to order room service that was delivered from the restaurant next door. I think that this could be extended to all guests. There was also no where to sit and have a drink/alcohol/soft/tea or coffee if it was raining. There was also no were other then your room to sit to get out of the heat as there is no air-conditioning in the lobby area.

I really liked the location, the room, and breakfast.

no room service, no porter and reception staff were not very helpful. no explanation of facilities.

The staff was really kind and helpful. The room was clean and they did housekeeping everyday. The beach was 5 minutes away but it's not the best, but other beaches with car also not far away. The Envy restaurant next to it was amazing. Change and ATM are near like 5 minutes by walk. With car you can go to the Harbor (20-30 minutes) and from there with boat (45 minutes) to Nusa Penida. Also with car temples (Ulun Danu, Tanah Lot, Pura Luhur Uluwatu etc.), Blooms Garden, The Edge, Rock Bar are not far away.

Everything was good.

Great place to stay. Staff is very friendly. Hotel looks nice and clean. Bathroom was even a little fancy. You should definitely go to the get to know the management event. There were great (!) snacks - among the best food we had. Good long drinks and nice conversations with the staff. The pool in the resort is also quite nice and it seems to be no problem using it when staying at the inn and not the resort. shuttle service from the hotel worked great. Paying a taxi is not needed.

The pool and poolbar need to open longer. 8 pm is not long enough. You're not even allowed to stay up there just outside the poop to play card games or chill. They changed the towels even when they weren't on the floor which doesn't align with the sustainable thing they have of not washing too many towels but only the ones on the floor. The region around is not very nice. At the beach close by there is a lot of trash and small boats. Not really good for swimming. We went to the beach further away around 30 minutes walk. It gets much nicer with lot of waves. I would recommend staying in Kuta for a few days and then continuing on to some nicer more natural parts of Bali.
