PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa

The best thing about this hotel is the location - perfectly placed on the route to Formentor (look out takes about 40 mins) and the Port Pollencia (12 mins) and easy to get to from Alcudia centre (15 mins, different bus route). The bus stop is directly outside the hotel - That in itself is a good enough reason to stay here! It’s sooo useful using this hotel as a base. The hotel looks great, really nice decor and cute little rooms in different small orange houses - really pretty. It’s quite a big plot including an adults only area, pool and breakfast area. It was clean, but there are quite a few bugs in the summer. Facilities are great, lovely pool, indoor and outdoor. Jacuzzi and spa is nice too. Really nice outdoor area and lots of places to relax and enjoy the view. The staff is really friendly and helpful - everyone was really nice. They let us leave our bags in the hotel for a while before we left, let us use the facilities until the end of the day, even though we had checked out. Really nice! Would very much recommend, great experience!! Great value for money too - if you’re staying in Alcudia, this is definitely a great option - whether travelling family or friends.

Keep in mind the beach you see from directly opposite the hotel, whilst it looks really nice, hasn’t really got any places to sit on - it’s just rocks next to a busy road. So, if you want to go to the beach you need to go to Alcudia beach or the beach at Port Pollencia, also Formentor beach is amazing (on the bus route that goes from the hotel - about 50 mins). Just don’t think you can go from the beach straight to your room to freshen up!

Lovely resort for a relaxing break as a couple. Very comfy clean room and very welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Great facilities including some adult only areas. For a relaxing break the location is great and to explore the bus stops right outside. The spa was excellent with the most amazing views.

We were very happy with our stay and really enjoyed the breakfast and lunch offering. We thought the all inclusive was fantastic value with great drink and food offerings but If I was to make one suggestion it would be to add an À la carte option for dinners. We would have happily paid extra for this. That said we would book again and had a great stay!

I was disappointed because I book for my parents so they can relax and enjoy in th e spa but unfortunately there was an extra charge if you have booked in booking.com

The entertainment team were brilliant day and night. The food choice was very good. The staff were friendly The resort is great for kids as well as the pool area The location is good particularly if renting a car

The Air con in the rooms could be better The main pool was not always the cleanest The beach is not really a beach The room we stayed in was located opposite a very busy road which was not ideal as we had a baby Ceiling fan was noisy as wants fitted to ceiling properly The spa facilities are only free for the all inclusive

excellent facilities. staff very friendly and helpful in the hotel. cleaners did an excellent job. buffet was lovely, would usually not relish a buffet but it was such good quality with very wide choice and different meals available each night. we had a range of rooms as in a group but the village plus were lovely. Maris more basic and smaller but price reflects this. large site so quite a lot of walking for an older member of our group. well thought out garden planting to give privacy throughout the site. tennis courts great. the spa is a great facility but see below about the bookings system.

bathrooms lovely but poor ventilation and difficult to dry towels esp in the Maris room which smelled a bit musty. staff in the spa were crazily strict about silly things like whether you picked up a towel before you spoke to them at the desk (!!) it was necessary to book in for all the gym/spa/indoor pools, however a number of times they had got our bookings wrong or we weren’t allowed to enter the gym when we were booked as others had gone in - presumably without a booking - to make it over the Covid number. either have a strict booking policy and enforce it or don’t! they also didn’t often answer the phone when we rang from our rooms.

Had a lovely stay here for a week. Stayed in a village room which was nicely located in a quiet area. Bike hire and shop on site which was helpful. Took walks to Port de Pollenca and Alcudia (both just over 5km away) but we enjoy walking so it was fine. Buses are easily available and reasonably priced. We only went B&B so didn't have much food but what we had was good. Bar table service good and waiters friendly. Helpful being able to charge things to the room and settle the bill on checkout. Spa was amazing and indoor pool and gym really good. I liked the outdoor infinity pool to cool down as weather was very hot! Used the laundry service this time to wash husbands cycling clothes which was very helpful and easy to use. Beach opposite was full of shells and nice and quiet. Spent a while sitting enjoying the peace and quiet. All staff were helpful when needed, ordering taxis and answering any queries. Lots of friendly greetings from staff all around the complex.

Children in the adults only areas - pools, bars and restaurants. It shouldn't be advertised as this as no one adheres to it. The usual hotel sunbed reserving. They state you can't do it but people were out very early and taking whole sections and then not sitting there for most of the day. No problem to us as we didn't use the pools and swam indoors or in the sea but could be a problem for those who do enjoy this. In other hotels I have stayed in, they simply remove towels after 30 mins. Ducks in the pool and around the tables did make me a bit uneasy but as I didn't really eat or swim there, was not a problem.

Room was a good size with comfortable beds and nice shower. Great breakfast and dinner choices. Staff very friendly. Loved the spa. Hired bikes from the on site bike shop- staff were very knowledgeable and the bikes were great.

Nothing really. A courtesy bus to Puerto Pollensa would be good. Local bus was quite busy and quite expensive if in a larger family group and using it every day.

We liked the adults only area, the pool areas, the grounds and the room. Food was ok - it was good quality and there is a reasonable choice but I've seen bigger buffets.

The location is out of town, so you have to taxi or bus into Polensa or Alcudia so you can't just walk out. The beach outside the hotel isn't great, so you have to get a bis or taxi if you want a sandy beach

The room was very clean and spacious. Food was very diverse for a 4 star hotel and good quality. The location is great, 5 minutes from the Alcudia city center if you rent a car. I didn’t try but there are buses stopping in the hotel property. Nice beaches also 5/10 minutes away by car with clear water and not too crowded. I advise asking in the hotel reception for tips on where to go.

Not enough sun beds in the adult pool area and I was also disappointed when I wanted to eat something while seating by the pool ( away from the water in the sun bed) and wasn’t allowed by the staff, which made me have to leave the area every time I had to eat. The dinner finished at 21:30 which I think is too early and I felt like I needed to hurry up eating if I arrived a bit later.

The location and pool were amazing! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our trip. Room was very spacious, comfortable and perfect for young family of 4 (village suite). The food in the main restaurant was delicious and served all tastes young & old.

Really scraping the barrel as overall we loved our stay, however duck poo in the swimming pool wasn’t very nice. And the grey water drainage in our room was really slow and occasionally there was a smell of sewage. But other than that no complaints and would really recommend and will hopefully be back soon.
