Ben Chifley Motor Inn

The king bed was clean and comfortable and did not sag and we were able to enjoy sleeping with 2 pillows each. The room was large enough to be comfortable and there was enough space to lay and unpack to large suitcases. The motel was conveniently located near a pub which served a good standard of pub fare and drinks. The Ben Chifley Motel represented good value for money.

Not enough bench space in the bathroom. Around the bathroom window and on top of some cupboards needed to be cleaned. The interior just felt a little tired and could be improved with a good coat of paint.

The beds were very comfy, lovely telly with free wifi and Netflix YouTube available. Nice gym pass type door lock, very easy so there was no fumbling for the keys. Interesting painting on the wall! Great topic for conversation. Full body mirror was an excellent feature, plus extra pillows and blankets, aircon worked a treat. A nice little section outside for smokers. Great tea coffee & biscuits avail and a little milk in the fridge, and the complimentary cotton buds and cotton rounds in the bathroom were a very nice touch! and a 2 minute walk to to service station was very handy for a midnight ice cream run.

No extractor fan in the bathroom was a little frustrating, hairdryer was tiny and a little dated. I can't really think of anything else off the top of my head. .................. . . . . .

Our second time staying here except without our kids this time being just a quick over night stay so we got to experience a different room and upstairs this time and i just can't fault it just like our last stay.. The room was clean bed spacious comfortable, and a great price friendly staff and just all around a great place to stay. This is definitely a first choice of stay when going the Bathurst.

Only down fall is having no sink to wash the dishes in the main room having to use the bathroom sink to do so. Upstairs balcony found it difficult taking luggage down the walk way with the table and chairs taking up most of the room.

Check in was easy and Sherie was kind and friendly, making the experience extremely pleasant. She was also available for questions I had regarding the booking and was patient throughout the process. What you see is what you get. The room was exactly like the picture. It was clean, smelled nice and was a good size for an overnight stay, with everything we required for our travels. The bedding was clean and comfortable as well as the carpet throughout the main room. The accommodation is also located close enough to different restaurants and a self serve petrol station around the block. The price point was good and I would 100% stay at this location again.

Comfortable bed, easy access to town.

shower, not enough water pressure hard to get water temperature ok. Also water does run away straight away, so you are standing in a back up of water, information book outdated, breakfast menu in book but advised they don’t do breakfast. Also instructions for TV not clear, when I contacted a staff member he was rude and treated me as I was stupid. No face wash. Mark on side table where a cup had been.

Great location and value for money. The reception lady was very friendly and upon arrivel notified us that there was no house keeping foe the next day and gave us extra towels to see us through our stay. Beds were very comfortable our kids enjoyed being able to watch Netflix while relaxing in there bed.

Shower door didn't close properly so water did end up all over the floor while showering two little ones.

The room was clean and presentable with very comfortable beds and extra pillows and blankets. Coffee and tea were supplied with a starter milk in the fridge. Bathroom was very clean and well supplied with toiletries. Staff were polite and helpful. The motor inn was located within walking distance of the Dudley Hotel which offered a wide choice of meals and an open fire. On site parking was very convenient.

Was expecting a double and a single, but was pleasantly surprised with two doubles! Room had all facilities we needed for the stay. Clean towels daily. Close to restaurants and shops too. We had an upstairs room so were not disturbed by traffic and noise. Staff in reception was welcoming too.

One day we did not have clean towels and beds were not made - but then understandable - it was a busy weekend with the B12hr race on.

Just a thought that there could be care takers on sites as we had a very noisy male causing a disturbing incident right next door to us during the night swearing yelling out on the top of his voice bashing on his door as he couldn't get in with his pass code going on for a couple of hours as he was intoxicated but it won't stop us for booking another night we were happy with our room.

Value for money. Comfortable, quiet, easy parking. Nice pool.

I would have liked more towels. There was only one per person and I like 2 because I use one to dry myself and one for my hair. And they don't dry for the next day, so we need dry towels. I would have liked to know that I wasn't getting clean towels everyday.
