Bellbird Hotel

The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were amazing. Lana very kindly drove me to town to get the bus for the wedding I was attending. I wasn’t able to book a taxi or Uber due to capacity and she very kindly offered a lift to town out of her own time. Thank you Lana!!

There may be a drainage issue in one of the bathrooms - I went to have a shower in the morning and the entire bathroom floor was covered in water and puddles, it’s quite a large space so I was a bit surprised. Regardless, I still enjoyed my stay and the the facilities were clean and well maintained.

Staff were very helpful when we arrived. Great decore and classic pub/hotel feel. It's great that the tea and breakfast items are setup for us to use. Plenty of parking. We were also lucky becasue there were not many people staying upstairs so we didn't have any noise problems. The air con works well to keep the room warm if needed in winter.

Double bed in room 8 is a bit hard, but to be fair this is very low-cost accomodation (but the overall rooms are very nicely furnished). The electric blanket power cords are getting a bit frayed and should be looked at in case they present a fire hazard in the future.

I attended the New Gokul Hare Krsna Temple , for a spiritual day, and found the accommodation comfortable and would stay there again. Additionally let me extend my welcome to your staff and or client networks to stay in our Breakfreee Apartment in Adelaide, South Australia, if any guests travelling that way , it is a very nice and enjoyable stay the same as Bellbird Hotel. I have seen more than 5,000 Guests stay at my lodge over the course of 20 years. I run a software company on the web (propertyconsole.com.au), that is like a first brick for many aspiring homeowners in Australia. This software sells for seventy two dollars and I am providing consulting and support for seventy five dollars an hour. The software is wholly developed locally in Australia and might be useful. I had my laptop in the hotel and enjoyed the nice desk and power outlet provided to carry the inspirations of the town into the work I am doing as well. Thank you .

In the morning, I left the key and left, would have been nice to , have a word , say good bye and to be invited again to stay :)

The Bistro was very good. The shower was great. The bonus of tea making and breakfast cereal was unexpected. Car parking out front(camera protected) was welcome, convenient and safe. The lovely furnished open verandah off my room was very comfortable and a great place to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. My room was spacious and comfortable. The bedding was comfortable and the pillows provided were excellent.The shower towels were a decent size and thick.

The light in the toilet was not working.

Beds were super comfy, rooms very clean, towels and soap waiting for us. Staff amazingly friendly and helped with recommendations of places to go. The room had a musty smell but she pre warned us about that so we were ready for it as it happened because of the floods but was getting fixed that week.. honestly didn't notice it when in there but good on her for warning us. otherwise it was value for money And about what we expected. Mostly surprised about how comfy the beds were! Also air con and electric blankets if we needed them

The spider website and spiders in the toilets but what can you do about that, they probably come back every day, so actually not a big deal.

the staff were friendly , made everything easy and she was very knowledgeable. the hotel was old and nostalgic, if you like small pubs with the bathroom down the hall you will love this one

not much room to hang anything up, but we coped for the one night we were there., the door lock was a bit hard to undo

It was a gorgeous hotel.. Loved the old vibe,, the history and loved loved loved the balcony so much we had a wine and cheese sunset one night. Rooms adequate and comfortable, no aircon but big windows to let the breeze in. Loved the dresser with tea and coffee.

Location was great for our purpose of our visit.

Better breakfast facilities / items - not sufficient for number of guests. One of our family members purchased bread as there was none - it was left for others.

Perfect location for a concert we attended at Hope Estate. 15 min cab ride away from Hope Estate. Communication was good about how to enter club after hours. Bed was comfy. Room was basic but clean and all we needed. Bathrooms although shared were kept clean.

It met all my needs. Love the old style hotels.

Male bathroom floors get wet and slippery. The fall hasn't been done correctly. A little bit noisy with squeaky doors and floors.
