Station Hotel Motel Kurri

Facilities were great, room was clean and the bathroom very spacious.

We had an interconnecting room and we could hear the people next door. It wasn't a big issue though.

The location was close to town (the main Street of Kurri Kurri) it was a stone throw away from Kurri Kurri bowling club where the food is great and priced well.

The motel itself didn't have a bistro, apparently only since the new owners have taken over. In our room,we only had 1 dinner plate,there was only the 2 of us but if we had people visit or extra guests as there was a pull out lounge, there was no washing up liquid (staying for 3 nights we didn't want to leave dishes everywhere,so chose to eat out instead) They did supply a popa size milk , but I think some butters, Vegemite,honey or peanut butter to have on toast would of been a nice touch.

If your staying more than a night you definitely need a table and chairs in your room, which is not readily available, although the staff did give me one from the dining room, thanks for that.

maintenance issues, although didnt affect my stay, but the stool under the desk was screwed on with the foot rest at the back, they fixed it straight away, the ironing board was broken, and although told the cleaner, wasnt fixed or replaced while we were there for a week. If past patrons could bring these things to the attention of management instead of not mentioning the problem, there wouldnt be a problem.

We have stayed here 4 or 5 times now and it meets our needs. my wife has poor mobility at times and the location and disable facilities works well with us.

the room looked clean but after having a shower and walking around bare feet afterwards it was obvious by our black feet the floor were not really that clean. two nights we were unable to get a park in the DISABLED parking area and on one of these nights we had to park across the road from the motel, on this night guests (2 x cars ???) from the hotel had parked in the disabled parking areas, This is a real problem as my wife's mobility issues were very bad on this occasion.

Spacious and spotless room and bathroom. Nice quality linen. Big smart TV.

My only disappointment was some admittedly pretty nice music played SO loudly through an outside speaker attached to the pub and aimed across the carpark toward the 2 nd storey rooms (where I was staying) woke me at about 4 am and it continued all Night and was still on and still loud when I checked out at about 8:45 am. However, other family who were staying on the ground floor said they didnt hear a thing. As we were leaving an elderly couple were also checking gait and they need ripens their disturbed sleep owing to the loud music all night.

Room 16 (upstairs on end): comfy firm beds / great shower head design and flow / everything we needed /communal balcony table n chairs outside the door / friendly helpful staff *30 min enjoyable country drive to Deck Cafe HV vineyards: $79 each for set tapa menu lunch. $150 on wines after Gartelmann wine tasting onsite. nearest accommodation $400/night. Station Motel Kurri $130. staying here almost paid for our lunch and wine. 🙂

nothing - only whingers could complain

comfortable beds plenty of space in the room for a family of 4 with tweens ,we have stayed here several times before.. convenient location for us, lovely staff members, especially the cleaning lady with the blonde hair( sorry didn't catch her name) Late check-in was easy

Unfortunately we received a room next to some undesirables ( and unfortunately it was a interconnected room) who were swearing and fighting,so we could quite clearly hear their domestic fight, which my children found quite distressing,so the first night ( luckily they left the next day) was quite a unsettled night..car park was completely full and we had to park down the street on the first night, quite a few workers staying at the time and when the pub shuts they are quite loud with offensive language etc ( Wednesday night)

Good size room and quiet on a Saturday night despite being behind a pub. King size bed a bit on the hard side but that's always better than too soft. Good pillows and warm quilt. Air conditioning was quiet and worked well. There was also a microwave, toaster, plates and bowls in the room.

There was no sign that we could see for reception. Turns out you have to go into the public bar and ask the bartender. This was a bit off-putting as the bar was full of patrons very loudly watching sport. The bistro is also not operating at the moment so we had to go elsewhere for dinner.

I like the motel and the stuff was really nice and friendly our room was cleaned every day 😊

The only thing we didn't like was the bed as my partner and myself like to spoon when we sleep but had trouble as it was 2 single beds pushed together with a nice linen but the ridge in the middle hurts and was very uncomfortable so we couldn't sleep like we usually do 🥺

The room generally looked good as with most motels, the disabled features in the bathroom were adequate.

A disable/handicap bathroom with NO shower chair. The bed were too high for a disable person to get in and out of, and under the bed were quite dirty not cleaned/vacuum under, only saw this when my wife drop a tablet on the floor. LACK OF SEATING 1 TALL bar stool was the only seat in the room which was need for the high bench, not suitable for a disabled room (there was a table and chairs outside the room). The room door was damaged which made it hard to open and close.
