Amazing place for a romantic getaway. The residence was gorgeous and also in a get location. The Breakfast was delicious served in a beautiful dining room. The staff were remarkable. They were so kind and accommodating. Special mention to Sam and Vicki they made our stay outstanding.

The staff are wonderful and very accommodating, cannot speak highly enough of their service. The building has a charm to it and the history is very interesting. Breakfast was fantastic.
Whilst it is fitting with the era of the building, stepping up into the bath to have a shower wasn’t ideal.

Beautiful building and grounds, friendly staff, very comfortably room and well located. The tennis court is also a bonus!
The swimming pool wasn’t in very good shape, while I’m sure it was perfectly safe, my wife didn’t want to swim in it

the Convent is the place we go to when visiting the Hunter, we originally went there as a treat, now it’s become the place we stay at whenever in the Hunter, it’s so lovely to see the same staff each time, and especially nice when they remember us. must do when staying is eat at Circa 1876 you won’t be disappointed

Beautiful building and lovely room. We had a lovely balcony and watched multiple kangaroos in the morning just below.
Pool area could have been cleaned so it was more comfortable to relax around.

Pool needs to be cleaned more often .. vaccuum works well on the floor but so many bugs on the surface ..that needed scooping off before you could enter ..

The room and view were beautiful. There was one female staff member that was amazing (will find out her name again) and she met us on Friday evening and took us via golf cart to the restaurant. Also, a male staff member on Saturday evening helped us with ordering pizza and setting us up in a small conference room to enjoy our wine and pizza!

The Convent was exceptional. The staff and facilities were first class. This place is highly recommended for a romantic couples stay in the Hunter Valley vineyards.
