Lismore City Motor Inn

Family room was large and well equipped with crockery, cutlery, toaster jug ,microwave fridge. Shower was large and worked well Free internet. Handy location to main street where restaurants shops and bars are located. All within walking distance. Shower and toilet large and adequate. Couch and reasonable table were added bonuses. Beds where very comfortable and fresh clean linen and towels.

Electric socket with plug hole was hanging off the wall and could have been dangerous to young children. Tile was missing from the base of the shower and bathroom cupboards not functional but not required also. Decor generally was dated but homely, clean and comfortable.

Location couldn't have been better, as we were able to walk into town to have a meal at night. It was quiet inside our room, we supplied our own breakfast, but used the plates, cups, utensils provided. Shower was brilliant, heaps of hot water and excellent pressure. We were 4 days late in getting to the motel, as I ended up in hospital, but I phoned and explained the situation and they were happy to keep our room for when we were able to be there. We were also offered the chance to stay a few days longer, but we had to get back home, so unable to accept . Would highly recommend this motel to anyone who wishes to stay.

The booking made through Booking.com was for a room with three beds. The property owner contacted me once the booking was processed to advise they didn't have any rooms with three beds available and as such Booking.com should not have sold me that booking. I explained my travelling circumstances with the property owner and confirmed the detail under which I had been offered a booking through Booking.com was for a room with three beds. The property owner made arrangements to ensure my booking was honoured and set up a room with three beds. It was greatly appreciated.

Nothing to report. I was satisfied with the efforts the property owners made to honour the booking made.

This was amazing!! After driving from Melbourne for over a day this place was exactly what we needed!! The staff was extremely kind! We were upgraded to a bigger room, and it was awesome! Travelling with a baby you have a lot of stuff and so having a bigger room was a bonus. The amenities were fantastic, very modern, very chic!! The bathroom was amazing, it was really big and super clean! We had two split systems which was great! Everything was amazing here!! Will be returning here given the chance!

There really wasn’t much to complain about this place! It was really great!

The beds were comfy and warm , the staff were nice and the room was set up well , can I add that I gave much admiration for the owners and staff who have got this motel up and running after the floods .. they have done an exceptional job .

The bathroom was clean however it could do with an update in the future ...but again I would like to emphasise that with all things in consideration , that is the degree of floods that occurred, that the accommodation was great.

we were in Lismore for my nieces engagement party. Lismore City Motor Inn was within easy walking distance of the venue and we really wanted to support the local community after last years floods and not stay with family. The rooms have new carpeting, freshly painted and newly furnished. Spotlessly clean 💕

After the floods you can see that there is still cosmetic damage to the interior courtyard fascia. They have been repainted though. you can see that the room doors have warped but still secure.

Was clean and tidy especially in the light of Lismore having just experienced 2 x floods.

Parking spaces were very tight to get into to park in with hire car (not much room to get in and out of drivers door (approx. 400 mm at best) and number of available spaces very limited compared to number of rooms meant on street parking was often the only option, cleaning staff forgot to leave shampoo and conditioner in room on day 2 of stay. Continual noise from generators across the road that were servicing mobile Doninos Piza kept me awake at night.

They gave me an extra room then I had originally booked, it was a nice modern place, comfortable cough and bed.

Unfortunately the main bedroom did not have a door you could close, so you could see the bright lights coming through the bathroom frost and it lit up the room. The way into the room also smelt like urine which wasn't a nice smell (This was not in the room just on the way in)

Only issue was that upon arrival the room and the fridge in particular had been cleaned with what smelt like some sort of strong bleach product. The smell was so strong it gave us a headache to breathe in and we didn't really like our daughter breathing it in either. It made our food smell that was in the fridge

It's a quiet location very close to the centre of this pretty town.The staff have been fantastic.There is off road parking and a beautiful small pool.My room is clean and everything has been great!!Extremely clean bathroom which is important.Air con is GREAT.In room lighting is really good.I cant complain about ANYTHING.
