Avlon Gardens Motel

Even the linen was quality. I met Olivia first and then James as well the next morning. They were friendly and really made me feel welcome. I will definitely stay there again - going so far as to structure my journeys up and down the coast deliberately to stay with them.

There was nothing to not like. They spoke of getting new linen and adding some of their own touches but I hope they don't change too much because it was easily the best motel room I stayed in in 5 trips up and back Melbourne to Brisbane.

Friendly greeting and easy check in. Room was clean and well looked after, bathroom was retro and original tiling which I found astounding. Location was handy, we didn’t walk anywhere but it would have been possible. On a busy road but didn’t notice when we closed the windows.

Minor cleaning concern was a section of visible mould in a hard to reach area of the shower door. Conscious it’s the high season but $240 a night seemed excessive for a motel, in saying that conscious that was the going rate in the area when booked under 2 weeks out.

The owners Olivia and James were so welcoming and accommodating from arrival to departure. A wonderful motel, very quiet and no noise even from above or sides. Beautifully clean and comfortable and highly recommend Avlon Gardens.

Absolutely not a thing to dislike or be disappointed with.

Great customer service , very clean and comfortable, internet and netflix great ,comfortable bed and room size was awesome, discount at local club included with stay , ease of check-in, we had been traveling for more than 4hrs and contacted motel and we were able to check in early

If i had to be very picky the light in the bathroom runs with the exhaust so on entering the bathroom you always had the exhaust noise

Our hosts Bree & Greg were friendly, nothing was a bother for them. They even personally drove our daughter and son in law one afternoon to the Ballina airport as we had a commitment somewhere else at the time of their flight.Did not charge them. Rooms very clean and comfy beds. Spacious rooms. Great location. Will for sure stay here again.

Room was large and clean. Bed was comfy with a nice selection of pillows. Bathroom facilities were good, water pressure was great. There was also a large spa bath.

Clean, reasonably comfortable & having Netflix at no extra cost was added value. A membership card to get members discounted meals & drinks at the local sports club was a nice bonus.

Bathroom has adequate facilities but is very small & barely enough room for 1 normal build person at a time. The bed was comfortable enough but a queen size instead of double would be a major improvement. Overall though, the accommodation was suitable for our very short stay needs.

Avlon Gardens is a lovely motel. The staff are very friendly and the room was spotless and very well appointed. they provide Netflix, free wifi, air cond and very comfortable beds. A great location with easy walk to shopping centre. I will definitely be staying at Avlon Gardens again.

there was nothing I didn’t like.

The owners were so lovely and very helpful. We were running late to get to a wedding and our taxi hadn’t shown up and the owner drove us so we wouldn’t be late. So lovely. The rooms were very clean and the block out blinds meant a great sleep in.

All was great.

The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. Staff were accommodating of a late check-in.

There was no kitchen sink. I know this is standard for a motel, however, as a family of 5, we found it a little difficult to manage.
