Best Western Plus Goulburn

The facility was in a good location, it was clean and tidy and the safe were amazing. They show genuine care for their guests, and ensure if there is an issue, they attend to it without fuss and show the guests that they and or the issue at hand is important.

They just need to ensure that the external door have a weather strip on the bottom as there was a gap at the bottom of the door and the wind swirling around and the noise was so loud. We just rolled up a towel for 2 reasons and they were; to stop the cold air coming in under the door and to stop the wind tunnel noise outside.

Was a great stay for our young family. Highly recommend this for your next stay on the way thru Goulburn!!! The receptionist was so good to call us in the evening leading up to our stay, given we were delayed and she was so helpful to ensure we had a pleasant arrival. Also in the morning we went to Trappers Bakery for a nice breakfast which we'd highly recommend.

The bathroom fan was not strong enough to take away bad odours we found and could provide these suggestions to the hotel to improve on.

Great customer service by Ryan upon arrival and Debbie during checkout, both were friendly, polite and helpful. We are a family of 4 with 1 teenager as tall as an adult. Our Queen Studio was spacious, clean with alfresco. The room is complete with stove top, oven, cooking utensils, cutleries, etc. Also has ironing board and safety box. Bathroom and toilet were clean too, toilet floor was quite sticky, we used a towel for toilet floor. Shower floor was not sticky, it’s clean and no mold. Only 1 toilet roll in the toilet and no extra toilet roll, it’s needed for a family of 4. No indoor swimming pool like on google search. The owner replied my google review saying that swimming pool photo was an old customer’s photo and they can’t edit it. That’s ok for us. Each queen bed has 4 pillows, it’s awesome coz we love pillows. We are STILL happy with everything and we’ll be back!! 😊

Toilet floor was quite sticky, we used a towel for toilet floor. Only 1 toilet roll in the toilet and no extra toilet roll, it’s needed for a family of 4.

Location, staff and the lodging were all really lovely. I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Best Western Goulburn under various friends’ bookings around 8-10 times since 2017. It’s definitely our fav spot for gearing up before a motorsport weekend at nearby Wakefield park. Unfortunately with the recent decisions made by the local government to kill off motorsport activities at Wakefield park, I and the rest of the motorsport community now look to boycott all businesses in Goulburn. Since track days at nearby Wakefield park have been limited to a minuscule 4 a month, we’ll be taking our money elsewhere. It’s been a pleasure Best Western Goulburn. Lots of fun memories there - it was great while it lasted.

Really well appointed and friendly staff. Great value too.

my only criticism would be the restaurant which I believe is under different ownership. but seeings I am at it. The wine list is all McWilliams which screams cheap and nasty so then I’d have to assume the ingredients they purchase including meat is also cheap and nasty. we came back from a bar in town to especially have dinner and drinks at the restaurant but after seeing the wine list we went back to the pub in town.

Room service and Breakfast in the Weeping Birch was reasonably priced and delicious. Room was as always clean and spacious and comfortable. Had a good sleep as it was quiet and bed comfy. Shower and Spa just what i needed after a long drive.

Air conditioning seemed to be not working very efficiently, but it was hot outside! Also no movie channels only Netflix etc that you have to subscribe to and i dont carry my password with me.

Big room with extremely comfortable beds. The deep bath with a big window looking into the bedroom gave it a very luxurious feel. My daughter enjoyed a long soak before bed. You can close this window with a blind if needed. It was below zero over night but the room stayed warm with very little heating. I noticed multiple electric car charging stations which is a great addition

Unique loft rooms with the bedroom upstairs, clean and tidy, good value for money, spa bath and facilities, large screen tv upstairs and downstairs was a good touch, good location, probably the best place to stay in Goulburn

Not much we didn't like, the only thing could say is the kitchenette is very hard to get to and do things as it's squashed under the staircase and the outside ground area seemed all broken up and ripped probably needs repaving, but that's been picky.

Modern, clean and large room. Bed linen very cosy. Room even had a microwave which was handy. Loved the large TV. Very large shower (obviously built to cater for anyone who may be disabled) but had a seat, so I enjoyed it immensely. Extras touches like free bottle of water and cookies (fresh ones at that!!) Although on the main road, our room was set well back and very quiet - the hotel was full, but we were not disturbed by any noise at all. We stay in Goulburn every couple of months - I definitely would stay there again.

Beds a little soft - but only my preference. Pillows very large - however, I always bring my own.

Easy check in, decent size room, everything you need. Bath is good size, bathroom fitting look great. Our go to stop on the way back from QLD.

I had no idea how to get the air-conditioning to turn on. I'm not sure if it wasn't working or if I was doing something wrong. We arrived late so next time I'll be sure to ask office earlier for instructions.
