The booking, stay and checkout were totally fuss free. The room was a reasonable size and beds were comfy. Shower was good and so was heating as it was -7.9c in the morning when we left. All advertised facilities were in good condition with no old stuff. Also being just a block down from the Soldier Club which is a great dinner option meant we could walk there and back. We were a little worried when we saw that the railway is over the road but you can barely here them for inside the rooms.

Not that it can be changed that much, the exterior of the site is a bit 'underwhelming'. You can see that work is being done to resolve this and I think that this will help with drive-up business. For what we needed (a room for he night) this was not a problem as the room interior was well presented. Noise was a bit of an issue as the corridor door closer slammed the door shut and this woke us up with a couple of late arrivals. Our room door also had a bit of play, so when the corridor door got yanked open the vacuum effect rattled our door each time.

Room was clean n tidy . Beds were very comfy . Pressure in the shower was awesome plus huge shower head. Plenty of room in the shower. Towels etc soft n very white. Rooms are back from the main road didnt hear much noisecfrom the traffic.

There was no sponge to wash up with used my fingers to wash dishes etc. Needs a lounge in room if more than two ppl have to sit on beds. Chairs not comfy to sit n watch tv on.Downside no window only one in bathroom felt like we were in a small box. No small plates only large dinner plates. No bread board to use while preparing food. Pillows all need to be replaced they nearly all had sweat stains a blood stain was found on one of my pillows . Need to have pillow protectors to protect oriniginal pillows from stains.🤔

We were welcomed by Zac and given our room number and key. Easy check in , as we had not stayed in Goulburn I asked about where to eat dinner Zac recommended The Hibernian Hotel we were very lucky and got the steak night special Hotel was so close to , as was the coffee/muffin place next morning Comfortable bed and pillows which is always a plus for us We had to postpone this accommodation stay by a week again the previous priced booked was honoured , much appreciated thanks :)

Location was OK, however, difficult to find as signage was poor.

There could've been better signage (eg. lit up sign) that the hotel was there. We drove past it, as it was quite dark, and the sign didn't stand out. We parked in the side street and walked to the hotel. Also, we weren't advised that there would be no reception in the morning when we departed, and no advice given as to where to leave the key, so I rang the number posted on the door, to say what room we were in, and that we left the key locked inside. I did receive a text message later in the day, thanking me for advising them of what we did with the key, so that was good.

Newly renovated so very comfy and clean. Great location with an easy walk to nearby evening meal places.

The surprise! The outside is nothing like the inside, thankfully. The room had been renovated recently, spacious enough for what we needed. Lovely and clean. Very comfortable beds. Great value for money. Great location to park, supermarkets, food, coffee, the centre of town. We would definitely stay there again.

The outside of the building is still a work in progress. I actually thought we had the wrong place as the motel looked like it was closed down. Had we not pre booked, I would have gone elsewhere but I'm very glad we didn't 😀. My sister who is a smoker was suggesting that should have an outdoor area with seating and covering up the back of the car park, she also said the current allocated space would be good in the middle of winter, although people needed to stop being lazy and dropping their ash and smoke butts on the ground. The car park is in need of some love. My husband said the fellow at reception seemed to fit the picture of the outside of the building, and the woman I spoke to the next day fit with the inside of the building 🙂

Spacious, clean, great location. easy entry and exit. Handy mini kitchenette.

A few Microwaveable bowl/ dishes in the kitchenette for use in the microwave would be great. Scourer and detergent to clean breakfast dishes would be handy too. Huge shower and bathroom - would be great to have extra racks at the end of the long shower. Cupboards and shelving in the corner of the bathroom would be handy as well. Shower under the shower frame and the shower tiles at the end of the shower need a good clean - mould.

Was a little worried when I called to arrange a late arrival, as the person I spoke to was very laid back. But when I arrived, he was very helpful and efficient. The room was of a good size and very clean. The beds were comfortable. No noise from outside. Very close to the railway station and shops.

The hallway outside the room echoed, the sound of other people going to their rooms was quite loud. Couldn't connect to the WiFi.

Located in the centre of town. Restaurants, Pubs and Supermarkets nearby. We didn't have breakfast at the property. Had to call the manager after hours, as we had locked our room with keys inside. Manager told us he would be there in five, actually arrived in three. All rooms are being upgraded, ours was not quite finished , but the shower was bloody excellent. Microwave new, b ed comfortable. Can't reccommend it highly enough!

When we first arrived OMG "dodgey" is what we thought. The exterior was not inviting at all. However we had booked and paid so onwards and upwards literally we went. What a wonderful surprise when we opened the door to our room. Fabulous decor, bright and breezy, great beds, microwave and cutlery and dinner wear for 2, Ceasarstone bench tops, drop shower, fluffy towels and lots of tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits.

The noisy guests down the corridor who brought their friends back and partied till late. Not the motels fault though.
